The game is survivor sided
I know it sounds like every whinging person but it's true
They nerf killers constantly and hardly give new killers good perks and when I mean new killers I mean ones that were released or they give that one perk that's good for Artist it's her Scourge hook perk I don't see anyone run it for Cenobite it's Plaything I look through every new killer from the last year and see all of them have one good perk or no good perks. Trickster doesn't even have an good perks Crowd control is just a lazy version of Bamboozle that Hardly works because pallets are now everywhere and Starstruck just sucks because survivors just hide. Now there are some perks that are good NOED,burtal strength,Iron grasp but no survivors whine saying stuff like whaaa Lightborn is OP nerf it well if they nerf lightborn make it like the old version where it took longer to blind the killer or better yet say some major nerfs survivors got that made survivor unplayable.

Most characters, survivor or killer, come with 1 top level perk. That's how it's almost always been. I mean, take Laurie for example. People leveling her aren't hoping to unlock Sole Survivor, they want DS. With Mikaela, once you have CoH the only reason to keep playing her is the cosmetics. Nancy had Inner Strength, and fixation, which is only good for teaching new players how scratch marks work.

Survivors pay the bills.

Lmao

Buying cosmetics isn't paying bills. It's throwing away money. If anything I'd say that's what's hurting the game. I'd rather they take that budget for hiring an art department and use that money to hire better programmers.

I found this post very unsettling but hear this. If you know already, every side complains about stuff like the boil over buff and then it got nerfed because of the killers not sasified with it and they wanna nerf CoH because of the new killer the Onyrō. Also the other side complains about Lightborn because it doesn't blind them, and also NoED instantly downs other survivors.
According to the other sides, they complain alot like the Sluzzy, and Lord_Tony fiasco and then one of them gets banned because of it. I'm not saying about those people who did the fiasco is that everyone needs their opinions but I'm not talking about those people I'm talking about both sides having fun but I just don't wanna see anything that makes everyone quit the game it's a challenge. and the people who made the game needs to find something that makes it a challenge, and make it fun.

Actually, it's meta sided. If you're going to play clown against an average skilled full swf with powerful items and perks you will get destroyed. But if you play solo q survivor against a decent nurse/blight with anti-gen perks, it'll most likely be a 4k. It's a hard game to balance, but yeah, killers below A tier need a buff while solo q desperately needs more info and ways of comunication and op perks and items need nerf too. Maps need re-balancing too.

Imagine judging others and saying they are “whining” but you sound more whiny in your own post. smdh
6 -
Survivor sided and it’s not even close.
5 -
DBD it's always on the survivor sided.
7 -
I say whining because there a people who whine about you bringing lightborn.
1 -
Name three times survivors have gotten a massive nerf
1 -
It has always been and will always be survivor sided.

DS changed to be removed by actions.
Hatch rework to only let one out.
Boon overlap removed.

"They nerf killers constantly"
Stopped reading right there, next
7 -
I think s tier killers should be nerfed to A and all below A to buffed to A.
1 -
Boil over nerfed within two weeks while DMS wasn't touched despite being implemented in the same patch and being equally unfun to go against, but people didn't complain as much as whiny killer mains
RPD library hooks still being there
And I'm not even listing all the (mostly) deserved nerfs that survivors went through, from heals, bnps, infinites, etc.
1 -
That would be the ideal
3 -
Exhaustion no longer recovering while running, DS rework and later nerf, healing change that completely murdered Self-Care, and there is actually more.
3 -
If talking about average skill levels, or if survivors and killer are at the same skill level, I consider this game in pretty good spot.
However maps that favour one side too much, are what makes the match x - sided
1 -
Is SWF sided, solo survivors tend to be potatos 70% of games.
But Behaviour keeps balancing the Game around Potato survs and the Game becomes a nightmare for Killers, reason why a huge amount of old Killers left Game or swapped into survivor
0 -
I would leave the S tier killers alone. I agree but the ones at the bottom (except demo of course) but how would you buff Myers? Make tombstone base kit?
0 -
this just in, local killer main that has never touched survivor claims game is survivor sided, everyone has already been over this and knows the truth.
Tune in next time when someone asks for noed basekit again

Thank you @Lochnload_exe for that special report. And now let’s head over to Jeff to discuss the next feng cosmetic. 🤠

DBD is far from survivor sided if you take these measures:
Perfect your killer. You're playing against 4 other living breathing intelligent human beings, you'll need to know the ins and outs of your character.
Find out a great synergy of perks for your killer (or go meta lolmao)
Learn how survivors typically run loops
Make great use of intel gathering perks (Surveillance is pretty decent I think)
Make sure to apply pressure and fast, make sure to get in a chase at the start. And you'll be chilling. A lot of killer is just snowballing from how I play. (I play with like starstuck, make your choice, aggitation, and just some wild card perk lol)

Toolbox nerf, sabo nerf.

No def not to.bstone base. But they said they will still balance Demogorgon even if u can't buy him anymore

I disagree massively. First off I believe, as unfun as it may be at the highest level, it's balanced.
Secondly they have released so many good perks the last year. No Way Out, Lethal Pursuer, Deadlocked, Pain Resonance, Buffed Dead Mans Switch. All of these are great perks and are seen quite often at high ranks.
3 -
Exactly.
1 -
SWF is broken, soloq is fine.

The game (map): totally survivor-sided for most killers
The game (game): it's not completely survivor-sided. In scale of 0 to 10 (0 is killer-sided and 10 is survivor-sided), i would say 7 or maybe 7,5 (for average killer). But not every match survivors will have a advantage, depend on maps or perks or add-ons you use and other things.
0 -
Survivors aren't OP. SWFs are, which is why BHVR is trying the bridge the gaps and balance the game accordingly.
0 -
Trickster doesn't even have an good perks
Uh what? Trickster's No Way Out is potentially an S tier perk; it gives security and great game delay at a valuable time for the killer that often will result in an extra hook/kill. I really can't tell if this is bait or serious, they mention Trickster's other 2 perks then suspiciously don't mention no way out. And then they say iron grasp is a good perk, I just can't
1 -
I dunno, even in this video it looks like it's not a full SWF (there is a full sabo SWF in the video though) and yet it'd be a hassle for a killer to deal with:

Boil Over wasn't nerfed, it wasn't good even after the buff, it was made less abuseable. DMS on the other hand isn't abuseable and is counterable.
Fun is a useless metric for balance. I don't know why people keep calling stuff "unfun" or "boring" when trying to nerf Perks/Killers nerfed. Fun is and always will be subjective. What you find "unfun" will be what someone else finds "fun"
PRD is bad map in general. It has infinites, bad Hook spawns (for Killer and Survivor) and is just 2 Mother's Dwellings stacked on top of each other with a bad Gen spread
2 -
Next time someone claims this forum is a killer echo chamber, I'll show them this thread.
People even claiming that Boil Over wasn't good or abused after the buff...
Yikes
5 -
I mean, Boil Over truly wasn't good after the buff. If people weren't trying to abuse it, it barely did something
0 -
I tested it as solo and got at least one wiggle free per trial. Which is the equivalent of a DS.
0 -
Whenever a Survivor tried to use Boil Over in me without abusing it, I always made it to a Hook with no problem
1 -
Once you figure out that you shouldn't go down directly under a hook, it becomes quite powerful.
Had a fair amount of bleed outs with it. Because killers were not willing to risk a second or third wiggle out.
1 -
I've had to bleed Survivors out aswell, but I wouldn't really count that as Boil Over working
2 -
A perk doesn't need to be foolproof to work. If I got 1 wiggle out per match, than Boil Over was as strong as DS for me. Even more so, because it's not on a timer and deactivates when working on a gen.
1 -
There is no evidence the game is survivor-sided. All statistics point to the game being balanced.
0 -
Survivors have more control than a majority realize. Reckless play is probably the most endorsed method but also fuels the most kills.
Devs have practically spoon fed us everything needed to keep killers neutered within the time frame for gens. Playing safe leaves all but a few killers with limited options.
2 -
If a killer match up against good soloq players it'd be a problem, but there is not much of them after all.

"statistics" kekw

I mean. It always has been. Quite literally.
