DBD needs Maximum Caps for Actions

Everything in DBD had a certain speed it goes at and all the bonuses are stackable. This isn't too bad but when yous tart stacking everything it gets crazy.

Insta healing with COH, medkits, botany knowledge, etc.

Gens taking forever with pentimento, thanatophobia, dying light etc.

On the flip side, numbers are kept small to prevent these sort of issues which makes the perk borderline useless.

Nobody thinks Brutal Strength or Fire Up are strong, but how ridiculous could it be if their values were high?

What seemingly useless perk could become broken if it was ever buffed.


So to fix all these issues, I propose 1 simple, elegant solution. A maximum cap to how far things could stack on everything.

Gens speed bonuses can't be higher then 50% but can't be lower then 50%.

Healing can't be lower then 50% but can't be higher then 100%

This can be applied to anything, just the numbers need to be decided. Killer successful and missed attack recovery, sabotage speed, pallet break, exit gate opening, totem breaking, movement speed, etc.

I am fully aware this would not be as simple to implement as I make it out to be, but I think it's important for the future of DBD.

    Doesn't seems to be fun way to go, make every numbers bigger as baseline and problem solved.
