If BT becomes basekit, what will replace the BT perk??
Many people believe BT is planned to become basekit, judging by a hint given by the devs on a Q&A. While I personally don't think BT should directly become basekit, I do wonder, if it DOES become basekit, what will replace the BT perk?
Will Bill receive a new perk in it's place? Will it be given a new effect? And what effect would that be?
What do you guys think?

My guess is that they'll give survivors a basekit effect similar to BT without directly being the same effect. At most I'd assume it's BT with a shorter duration, and then the perk itself will have its duration shortened to match.

I think that if BT becomes basekit, I'll seriously consider slugging everyone I come across for a month or two.

Last I checked, that was not the question.

And yet I offered that helpful extra bit of information anyway, free of charge. How thoughtful I am. Humanitarian of the year, that's me.

Could be a whole new perk that’s what I’m thinking.

What a childish thing to say.

I don't want basekit BT but this is no reason to slug survivors.

Perhaps extend the duration of the "base BT" given to the unhooked survivor.

Lol, what do you expect?
DS, DH, UB, IW.
All that changes is that now they can fit 5 meta perks instead of 4.

I was tired to the point of delirium when I wrote that (and not serious).
Had a game against a slugging Wraith yesterday. 4E, but he downed us all at least four or five times each and probably would have won if he'd been hooking us.

One time, back around the time I started playing, I tried slugging for a few games. I used Michael with Fragrant Tuft and Infectious Fright on Gideon's. The first try resulted in four angry disconnects (I have to admit, it was funny), and the other two tries resulted in losses, I think.
It's amusing when it works, but it's not a good strategy.
I got drunk and did a few facecamping games day before yesterday. Every other game was either an embarassing loss or an easy win, depending on how dumb the survivors were, but it wasn't a consistent strategy (also, I was probably not playing well). That might have been the first time I tried facecamping as a general strategy (?), but I will facecamp survivors if they're obnoxious.
I wanted to see why BHVR mentioned faceamping as "appealing" even though I have always thought of it as bad and usually lose when I do it to even one survivor.

Simple.
Basekit: Being unhooked or unhooking yourself gives endurence for 2 secondes.
Borrowed Time: extends the endurance duration by 6/8/10 seconds.

While I agree that a basekit BT should have a shorter timer, 2 seconds is basically nothing.

If BT becomes Basekit, Killer's need Corrupted Intervention as Basekit as well.
Given Survivors a opportunity to save their teammates from camping killers, would be too strong unless they concept killers with the ability to pressure off Generators too early.
New BT could extend the timer, and New Corrupted Intervention could do something huge, like Blocking all Generators for 30 Seconds, while keepingthe 3 farest gens block for same duration as current Corrupted Intervention.

The idea would be for basekit BT to be exclusively and anti tunneling during the unhook. The idea isn't to actively buff survivors by giving them basically the entire borrowed time effect.
2 seconds give enough time to body block the killer at least.

Yeah but 2 seconds is incredibly easy to wait out.
