Leatherface chainsaw not working

I played a match of bubba today and after something happened, my chainsaw was completely unusable the whole game I was playing M1 bubba the whole match. It happened after I revved the chainsaw and got pallet stunned out of it, the meter was white and full and when I pressed L2 It would just make like a slight chainsaw noise as if it was out of gas. I think bubba forgot to gas it up or something. My platform is PS4. guess I'm not playing bubba today.
