Nemesis the “new” Bubba?
Any one else noticing a lot of Nemesis players camping & tunneling, more than ever? He’s going to make Bubba blush at this rate.

Nemesis has always been one of the more tunnely killers from my experience.
As for camping, it's as common as it is with the majority of the cast to me.

Tentacle man has nothing on Bubba.

I ran to an insidious Nemesis few matches ago

Nobody can take throne from Bubba lol. Bubba is still best camper & tunneller.

It's funny you say that, but I main Bubba but I'm more likely to camp with Nemesis.
I don't see why tunneling is being mentioned, Bubba doesn't tunnel any better than other killers. Every hit is a one-shot when a survivor is wounded. Just trying to spread Bubba hate.

I don’t get why someone would bother facecamping with Nemesis? His zombies are good detection machines, you see outstretched arms you know there’s a survivor in that direction so you can go down them. And he chews through pallets really quickly so being in chases just helps him create dead zones on the map.
I get why some people do the Bubba facecamp, he can guarantee a down even on healthy survivors and through Borrowed Time. But Nemesis in a facecamp is just a basic attack killer at the hook.

Bubba is still the camping king but no, ever since the RE chapter dropped Nemesis was easily the killer that tunneled and hit on hook the most, somehow overtaking Pyramid Head, the killer with the ability to very easily tunnel survivors built into his kit.

No.
Nemi is angel compare to devil Bubba players.

I audibly groan every time I hear a zombie or hear the Nemesis TR at the start of a trial. One of the worst designed killer powers. Feels awful getting "outplayed" by AI zombies who happen to be in the right spot at the right time. Then you have the tentacle which is peak unga bunga hold to zone or free hit on animation lock.
And yeah, Nemesis tends to attract the "I'm a KILLER main" stereotype, so you know how the game is typically going to go right from the outset.

It's the optimal way to play Nemesis. Use ruin and camp while zombies pressure gens. You will gain infection from altruism and possibly get rid of some vaccines.

I'd argue proxy camp is definitely best. Set up around your first hook (in the area of three-four gens, not facecamping) and try to play around the angle of your zombies. If they are closer to the hook, you can generally feel safer to go to further gens . His Zombies don't get enough credit for how useful they can be in a match, honestly.
Nemisis is not a hit and run killer because of how his power works, and going for long chases usually ends with you near completed gens away from your Zombies. His biggest threat is being a constant pressure in chase, while having a network of death and entrapment around him. When he's brought outside of that context, he suffers. Also, he needs Tinkerer or discordance to get the full benefit of his kit.

I like to call him the "new Freddy". Quite brainless to play, little counterplay when he gets to tier 3 and very boring to go against (same as artist, but she actually requires some sort of thought process when placing her crows)

No one can do that. Nemesis players are cool I have had many of them give me hatch and the gate when I play jill or Claire.
And then that. Also congrats on getting to 1000 post!

It's a terrible feeling when there's one zombie at the right place at the right time... But what about both zombies?

Oh wow I didn’t notice till you said it! Thanks, bro!

Haha no problem bro!

Yep. But Nemesis has always been like that for me, which is one of the reasons why I hate going against him.

Every single Nemesis I've met the past... let's say, 4 months? were absolute camping and specially tunneling machines. I don't know why they tunnel so much compared to other killers. It's actually a bit funny because when I get into a match against a Nemesis I'm immediately sorry for whoever gets found first, and until now I've been right about it 100% times. Huh.

I don't know about camping but with tunnelling the whole contamination aspect does kinda instill this sense of getting the most outta something with Nemesis. After all if it's a choice between an uninfected rescuer or the injured infected I guess it's pretty tempting to go after the already weakened survivor since chasing the healthy one could potentially waste a lot of time thanks to the free speed boost. It all really depends on the circumstances for said Nemesis player though. Playing 100% fair does kinda feel like purposely losing the game with him sometimes really since spreading out your chases fairly also means spreading out a lot of free boosts for the survivors too.
