Add 2 options (1 for both survivor & killer) to choose whether the matchmaking prioritizes speed
What if there were options in settings where you could enable “fair matchmaking”. This would be just like the option to enable cross play, with a warning to the side that would state enabling “fair matchmaking” may result in longer matchmaking times. Basically this option, when enabled, would weigh players SBMM ranks much heavier when matchmaking, while pretty much disregarding wait time. Exactly the opposite as it sits now where players skill is thrown out the window in favor of making the matchmaking faster

Even with an option like that eventually the system needs to widen its criteria or people won't get matches for hours on end. There is also the issue of SWFs which I believe already messes with matchmaking in general in regards to MMR vs Wait Time.
