That's it, I'm just gonna say it
I preferred it when survivors couldn't 360 due to the animation change.
Probably an odd thing to prefer, but when the new animations happened you couldn't really 360 as they wouldn't let you.
I know it got a bunch of backlash because people couldn't do it but I still kind of preferred it. Iv never been a fan of "spinning a killer" it just breaks the sort of threat and emerson of the game personally, and it only ever really works against casual/new players which I dont really verse anymore
Tip: if anyone does get "spun" or anyone struggles with this your sensitivity is likely to slow.

I was a fan of the more fluid animations, at least the look of them
But the feel of them were just... not good

I don't care that you broke your elbow!
...wait
360ing killers is a stupid mechanic that shouldn't be in the game, especially because most 360 misses are not caused by the player but by the poor autoaim/dress aiming/whatever you want to call that crap that makes the game think I wanted to snack that rock instead of the survivor twirling around like a ballerina.

I don't really mind it, tbh. And, since I play with a controller, it is not unusual for me to get spun.
2 -
They definitely did look better, but playing with them was a whole new level of pain

Probably need to up your sensitivity, common issue when using a controller as they can run around you faster than you're actually turning.
I didnt even mind them movement wise either tbh, I know the first time they every released there was issues but I think they took it too far back to the original now

*sobs in being a controller player*
i actually don’t remember how it was with the other animations, but the current situation just unfairly punished newbs and players on controller/lower sensitivity..

You can still up your controller sensitivity but I'm pretty sure it's near the max if you want to avoid all 360s.
But I agree it is kinda annoying being forced to play on a higher sensitivity then usual to avoid this, lucky this isnt a fps lol

You realise they are just spinning in one spot? There are many ways to hit them. Quick attack instead of lunging, take a step back instead of allowing them outside your fov, or just turn with them.
Nothing has changed with the new annimation btw. Survivors just relearned their timings with the new system.

I have it on max (actually played around with Steam Controller settings as well to get some basic settings like Dead zone and response curves) and thus I don’t get spun all the time anymore. Just sometimes, especially when the surv has a higher ping..

No they changed the animations again to allow it. People didnt relearn anything as when the new animations first came out you couldn't 360 at all but then they edited and changed the animations again giving the ability to 360 again.
And I'm not complaining about not being able to hit it, just saying I preferred it

being a pc player, it's very rare that someone actually manages to spin me. but it is still kind of stupid, gameplay wise. very annoying when you play P-head and the counter is to run directly into him when his sword is in the ground lmfao

I just want them to bring back spinning while in the dying state. It was nice to do while I was bored while being slugged.

This, Billy becomes another level of pain on controller when you realize you have to crank up your sensitivity to backrev anyone not running in a straight line. My sticks are extremely sensitive however, which means that if I try to turn quickly, sometimes I look straight up or down and get confused, this would be easily fixed with the bare minimum of an x/y axis sensitivity, but unfortunately that's clearly not coming anytime soon.

Auto aim/ Dressing is why majority of this happens. Still steamers and other wannabes think they did something special.
3 -
Completely agree. There was nothing wrong with the new animations, and 360ing should not be a thing. But like most positive changes that come to the game, people just wanna cry to get it taken away. And I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like it's all the stuff that helps killers that gets taken away.

Well removing 360 would only help new or people with very low sensitivity which tend to be very casual players.
I personally just dont like the idea of it, I dont like seeing it, I dont like doing it. Just seems meh to me and I think animations will always suffer due to it.
I did see a 4k render of a SB (fan made) but that thing looked amazing

I cant tell you how many times I've had a survivor dead to rights and they move just a little bit and for some reason auto aim though that rock should be my target.
I play on console btw.

It made doing a mori a chore. You had to wait til they were still or just have lucky timing.
1 -
We feel you. I think that's part of the reason why PC killers just think we're bad.
0 -
Right is not my fault that when the survivor ducks right in front of me that auto aim decides that that rock is a huge threat and must be taken out.

The only thing I have to say is that I saw the title of this post and instantly thought of:
@tippy2k2 beat me to it

I for one just appreciate someone got it! :D

I still prefer the old animations, the survivors were hiding in those. Not standing there menacingly, like some Stand User.
0 -
I did not know that. I don't care, I still want it back!
0 -
They can do both. Just don't make a survivor moving fast while crawling disable the killer from using a mori.

I agree mostly. I don't like spinning cause it feels like it kinda screws over specifically console players, and it does seem very dumb that you can just spin to dodge, it also very much screws over new players. However I didn't like the feel of the animation they tried. Now I'm not 100% sure on this cause there was a weird desync bug.
Also I don't have problems missing survivors that spin cause of my sensitivity on my controller, but because I'm getting below 30 fps with small lag spikes whenever I do anything.

You think it’s mainly because the fps and lag but while that’s a huge problem on its own, even with high sensitivity controller can suffer with 360s because of auto-aim/aim-assist or whatever they call it.
1 -
360's only work on people for the most part because the FOV on killer is atrocious
0 -
People still complain about 360's? If you're getting 360'd thats completely on you misplaying. If you literally wait half a second, a second at most, they will stop spinning.
1 -
Well "aim assist" does effect it but for me the biggest issue is the fps, aim assist being next.
1 -
You still think it’s not an issue on controller because of sensitivity and aim-assist or console because of optimization etc? 🙄

360s are an exploit tbh
