Allow us to skip the hook death animation/mori.
As the title reads. Press any button to skip it. The animation still occurs for the others, but you will be sent to the post game menu.
I have seen the hook death animation for the past 5 years and it's getting VERY annoying to see that ######### over and over again.
And if we're here, make wards more common. People wonder why survivors are salty when they die: you lose your item and addons. If it's something good, it's really sad to know you're not getting to use that again for a while.

to add on to the list of small unimportant changes that would be somewhat beneficial, take off the camera lock when you hit second stage and can't see anything but the sky.
Oh and more wards wouldnt be good. It would only promote people bringing more strong items/add ons. But if you enjoy running against mother daughter ring impaling wire alch ring purple medkit commodious firecracker hillbilly whatever the #########, then by all means.

I agree with the camera lock removal. It's so annoying after you have seen that animation 3000 times before.

Nah, you and/ or your swf should watch the death animation every time :) It solidifies the loss and humbles you.

Especially when you get facecamped and tunneled out by a huntress at 5 gens.

Exactly, like me. I am both bored of the animation and salty about dying to 5000 ping huntresses hitting me with hatchets in places I was 5 seconds ago then facecamping and tunneling me.

I mean, its an animation you'll see in roughly 50% of your matches. Whether or not its because you're mad or not isnt really the issue honestly. Its just boring to see after hundreds of times. Combined with a bunch of other factors, its really just unnecessary time that doesn't need to be there.

Also give the option to leave when you're the last survivor without taking a penalty. I'm getting tired of bleeding out while the killer stares at me. Not even their fault half the time because the game is poorly made and allows them to do so.

The argument I’m bored of seeing it, it goes for what barely 30 seconds, is just a lame rationale for being a sore loser.

I am proud to be a sore loser against dirty killers. Fun matches, I would gladly sit through the animation, you earned it. But when I die on hook at 5 gens with a nice item I risked using, because of a tunneling and facecamping 5k ping huntress, that animation just further rubs in my face the fact that I'm not good at hockey.

Don´t bring expensive Items or Addons then.
I only bring something for challenges. I always fear to lose it :-)

Skipping the death hook is fine, but you shouldn't be able to skip a Mori. Moris are rare, and vindicative for killers to perform and enjoy their win.
Would you also be fine with killers being able to leave when the exit gate opens? Or is it wrong for the killer to not be forced to watch you tbag at the gates?

The killer still enjoys their win because they see the animation.
People that believe it's necessary to have the loss rubbed in your face, why? Why do we have to hurt each other for our loses? Why not be a good sport so each part enjoys the game?

That's not something to be proud of. What you have described there is just you being a bad gamer, we all know one person that makes playing games unfun because they are just no fun to play with (They get angry over losing, the game not going how they wanted, ruin it for everyone else just because they aren't happy) don't be that guy. Dead at no gens dead at 5 gens it doesn't matter.
You are taking the game far to personally and that's unhealthy,
The mori animations especially can be great, die thematically, own your loss and move on as getting all pissy over death in a game is really just childish and ridiculous, and it is just getting pissy like a child nothing more.
Best in game death I ever had was getting mori'd by hag on Hawkins, I was downed behind some barrels and all you could see was my feet sticking out, the hag's hands flailing and blood splatter it was a very cinematic implied death with only subtle visual, real horror movie moment.

Everyone is different. People on these forums have this thing with "if you are angry at losing, then you have mental issues". No, I am simply angry at losing and I'd be much better off just skiping a boring animation and move on.
And no, I don't ruin people's games because I'm angry. I can't ruin your game if I'm already dead.
