One tiny change...
One thing I've noticed that really grinds my gears is the encounters where someone waits until 5 seconds before a match starts and suddenly either changes their character, or suddenly brings an item (usually a flashlight).
Playing as both killer and survivor I find this sort of thing really distasteful.
This got me to wondering why the killer gets locked in at 15 seconds, but survivors get locked in at 5.
Why can't/shouldn't this be reversed?

How does the killer get locked in at 15 seconds? I am pretty sure you can still leave a lobby at 5 seconds and change perks/addons in that timeframe.
though I would be okay with survs actually being locked at 15 seconds and not being able to change items/chars (

It would be nice indeed.

The killer can still leave but can't change perks or add-ons.
...which is probably why some survivors will wait until 5 seconds to change characters or bring items so the killer can't prepare a counter.
It's that sort of scummy tactics that I find distasteful and leave a bad taste whether I'm using survivor or killer.
Having the survivors being locked at 15 seconds and the killer having 10 free seconds would negate that sort of thing. At least I think so.

Killers can still change their loadout between 15-5 seconds. Hell, I can even level my bloodweb in that time.
