AFK Killers
There has certainly been a rising number in killer's who are AFK. Sometimes they stand there all match until the game is over, sometimes they AFK until end game to use their NOED.
This created in incredibly boring experience for the survivors as there is no threat while completing generators. It also makes it impossible to achieve many of the Rift Tome Challengers which require killer interaction.
Why are AFK killers allowed to exist for long periods of time? Can this be fixed?
Yes I report after game, but surely something can be done to detect it during the game and punish/remove these killers.

Some killers might just want to practice End game strategy. There's certain things that can only be done in end game such as testing of certain builds, certain chases are much more different when EGC is a threat. Certain archives are only able to be done during the end game as well.

AFK are not subject to any of the rules that prevent them from being afk. It's another matter if it's a bot that stands and beats the air - I banned such people. Those who stand with a noed are all the more not prohibited, because they use their own tactics of the game, however, like those who stand afk to the end, in fact this is their style of play.
A little tip: if you're standing in a lobby and you see that the killer presses the Ready button, then not ready again, then it's afk, you can dodge this lobby

After a while, I guess you get bored of going to maps that are stupidly big, no decent line of sight, lots of safe zones and/or god loops.
This is doubly true if you get the bloody map twice or thrice in a row.
I can understand how alt-tabbing to a fun game while the survivors do their gens in 5 minutes can be seen as a viable alternative.
Personally in those cases prefer to tunnel and/or camp the first survivor I find so the others have an incentive to do the gens as fast as possible. If they come to the hook, more effortless benefit for me.

This also impacts the long queue time for killers lately. you are fighting for a spot with an AFK/Bot.

AFK strats are boring. AFK pig should be addressed by devs. Unfun hostage tactic.

I wouldn't call it a "hostage tactic" since the game can still end. It's up to the survivors how long they want the game to last.

You can do lot of things and have a chance of surviving if pigs are actually afk.
