Game crashed when closing hatch as Sadako on ps4

Not really much else to say here. I closed hatch and crashed.
Maybe turning off dc penalties for the first week of a new chapter wouldn't be a bad idea, that way the devs get info on where to fix the problem and people aren't punished for something that's out of their control.

What map was this on please...and a rough description of where the hatch was would be helpful also, thank you for reporting this.

It was on RPD in one of the first floor long office rooms. Next to the front gate
