Ukrain
I only write this because bhvr put out a statement regarding it. We are supposed to keep politics off the forum and if you don't want to hear about it stop reading now, however, the official statement opens the door for this discussion in my opinion.
I start with a question, who is bhvr trying to punish? Do they think Putin jumps on after a long day and fixes generators? Highly doubtful. The people who play this game are the people that are most likely kids or adults who either don't know all the information, don't care to know all the info, or are sick of hearing about the whole mess. All they are doing is forcing money into other games and nothing to stop the governments from doing whatever they are going to do.
Now, I don't want war between anyone, and I feel for the innocents involved in every conflict. Most people just want to live their lives peacefully. I just don't understand punishing people who don't have a real say in the situation, notably Russian video game players.
I get being mad at 'human rights abuse' but why single out Russia? Where was the official outcry when the Canadian prime Minister sent troops into peaceful protesters and trampled an elderly woman? When a Cafe got evicted for not towing the line? When a preacher got arrested for holding service at a church? You removed cool cosmetics for racism but say nothing about treudeu getting caught in actual black face 9 times?
You still sell your product to Ukraine, despite them bombing Russian for years now. You still sell to America despite the US invading 11 different countries under Clinton, Bush, and Obama. Will you ban China when they invade Taiwan?
I get being upset at these situations, but the selective outrage is pathetic. If anything now that Putin got rid of covid maybe he should be praised? (that's a joke)
Where's the outcry over the human trafficking in the middle east? The child slavery and religious re-education camps in China? The anti-lgbtq+ stances of Muslim countries where gay people are thrown off roofs?
Again, I'm not against standing with the people of Ukraine. But cutting off the Russian public does nothing but give a nice soundbite you can roll out to say you are a good company.

Amused, particularly at the Canadian stuff.
Maybe you'll find another Rebel News fan to engage you.

Politics is not something that we wish to have discussed on the forum and as such I will close this here.
