Nurse pros what's the best build and how do you play indoor maps?
Gave up on nurse long ago but been playing her recently and doing pretty good but every match I used shadow born I feel like it's a wasted perk slot but it's good the wider fov helps tracking survivors and not sure if it's placebo but I land more hits with it didn't test a lot without it and for other perks I use ruin undying and corrupt intervention or tinkerer instead I had a good run on open maps but then had meat plant map it was torture and horrible it's easy to lose sight and you can't blink down to outplay survivors trying to outplay you ect and it's difficult keeping track in a chase and blinking through that many walls and rooms but I managed to get 2 kills and 3rd survivor was dead on hook and downed him on exit door but he crawled out anyway got +1 pip which is a win in my book and I'm playing in high mmr against constant red ranks and 5000 hour survivors it's difficult to avoid gen rushes and toxic swf like the game before it I had them sabotaging and body blocking hooks for me ... I'm having a bit of difficulty in loops and some jungle gym pallets a lot of times I want to short blink but I just don't go through whatever object infront of me and I don't know if my hits are luck a lot of times too so I'd like some tips to win more games.

Indoor maps can be hard, that's all the wisdom I've accumulated so far. Sometimes I have great success, but I don't always feel I can attribute it to to me. Afterall, that 'good read' I made through two walls could always just be me beating a potato.
I feel like in the current meta Starstruck, The hook more terror radius perk thingy, and Infectious Fright get serious value. Every game.
Also, if you get an early hard down feel free to proxy it out of the game early for the much softer 3-man. I made the mistake of going easy on a team in Lery's once after a strong start. Never again.

I only tried starstruck once in a match and while carrying a survivor I did hit another one but he wasn't exposed and only lost 1 health state and never used it again. As for proxy out of the game you mean chasing someone after they get unhooked? It's a good strategy it works a lot but most of the time when I do it the survivor has borrowed time and DS and when others see you trying to finish that survivor they will body block the hooks and sabotage and blind you while another one is rushing gens or usually 2 agree doing gens and when you finally get someone out of the game you only have 2 gens left vs 3 survivors it's much worst as other killers but a bit easier on nurse since you can end chases quicker the better you're at her ut yeah I generally always try to get someone out of the game but that needs 3 hooks

If you want the absolute best build, you're probably looking at something like Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer, Noed with double range addons. Can also sub tinkerer for infectious. I feel like starstruck/agitation is kinda overrated, but then again I've never ran it so idk. You can decide for yourself. Never ran the other build either, but I think it's common sense. I personally just stack all tracking perks with double recharge pretty much. If you play better with shadowborn I say just keep it. It feels good and Nurse isn't really hurting for the slot in most cases. I honestly don't encourage devoting yourself to running the sweatiest stuff every game either, but it's your choice.
Also meat plant is probably my favorite indoor map to play Nurse on. Sure the bottom level has many los breakers, but once you learn and become aware of the layout of the map you'll realize there's only so many places they can go. Kinda the same with Midwich. I'd be more concerned about Rpd. Literally a maze. There's so many twists, turns, and corridors survivors can run through to confuse you. ######### that dude. Lerys also sucks but to a much lesser extent.
For short blinks make sure you are walking towards and/or hugging the thing you're blinking through. Don't be backing away, standing still, or parallel strafing the object at a distance when you're trying to blink through it. Make sure you walk as close as possible before letting the blink go to reduce chances of undercharging. It'll just become second nature at a point. Same with flicking your camera up when blinking to maximize distance. Also take into consideration that you can't blink into survivors and their hitbox can screw with your blink.
Hope that helps a little :)

The best build is probably Dead Man's Switch/Pain Resonance/Starstruck/Agitation. Purple range, green recharge, go to town.
My build is add-on less, Agitation/BBQ/I'm All Ears/Starstruck, though I'm currently experimenting with replacing BBQ and I'm All Ears with Pain Resonance and Floods of Rage. Not entirely convinced, probably gonna go back to the main one.
As for dealing with indoor maps, it depends on the map.
Lerys is very very difficult and I often find myself walking more than blinking. It's very hard to have consistent LOS so you'll want to do lots of shorter blinks here.
The Game is fairly straight forward due to it's size and being able to move around both floors a lot easier than most. Pallets aren't a concern to you, only real issue is trying to short blink on the top floor and going through the ground. @edgarpoop gave a good tactic to deal with this, instead of blinking at the floor walk backwards as they run towards you and let off a fully charged blink that way. Works better.
RPD is an instant loss. Try your best and don't get annoyed.
Midwich is one of her best maps. You can get anywhere within 2 blinks- one to the courtyard, one from the courtyard. Long, straight corridors are easy to blink through and harder to mindgame. Only issue is finding survivors really but advanced gamesense or perks can help with that.
I think that's all?

Thank you it helped a lot :)

Yeah awesome reply ! Would you explain each perk you mentioned and what makes it good for her ?

Yeah, sure!
Dead Man's Switch, when combined with Pain Resonance, is very good gen slowdown. Nurse is one of the best killers for getting people off of gens and pressuring them, meaning the gens will be blocked often, and she's very good at getting downs and hooks, meaning DMS will be active often. PR triggers whenever you hook someone on a Scourge Hook- which Agitation works well with- and will trigger DMS to block the gen with the most progress.
Agitation itself helps remove one of Nurse's major downsides- downtime- without needing to slug to hell and back. It also works well with Starstruck which not only prevents bodyblocks but can enable very good snowball potential due to people being exposed. You do not want to be one hit vs a Nurse.
Range add-ons are very good as you can teleport further in a single blink, and recharge just makes you be able to blink more often.
As for the second build, the Agi/Starstruck combo remains, however BBQ is there for points and being able to have some basic info. I'm All Ears, in essence, is a free hit every 40 seconds. Wallhacks on the killer that can teleport through walls is very, very good, second only to perhaps Pyramid Head's use of the perk.
Hope this can help.

I dont know which is the best build for Nurse, but this is for sure a strong one! DMS + Pain Resonance is always a good choice and Starstruck + Agitation is very good on nurse.
You could also give that Hex build a try: Undying, Ruin, Haunted Grounds, Retribution. Otherwise I also like to play her with any aura reading perks like Im All Ears, BBQ or Nurse Calling + Monitor & Abuse. This help me a lot on maps like Lerrys or RPD.

Personally, I dont think that Nurse has to think much about Perks. She is basically my go to-Killer for those "Finish the Trial with at max 1 Survivor escaping while using 3 teachable Perks of the Killer in the Archives"-Challenges.
If you want to go for the absolute strongest, either purple Range and green Recharge or double Recharge would be a great start. I think either Dead Mans Switch and Pain Resonance would be great or Starstruck/Agitation/Infectious Fright. You can also run 4 Hexes (Haunted Grounds, Ruin, Undying, Retribution), to get some Aura Read (and potentially Instadown) to end the game quickly.
Personally, I run BBQ, Shadowborn, Whispers and Corrupt Intervention, even tho I am thinking about switching out Corrupt Intervention for Infectious Fright.
When it comes to Nurse, since you are also running Shadowborn, you either want to stick to it OR try to learn her without Shadowborn. I only played her with Shadowborn and I cannot really take it off, so which whatever build you come up with, it either has to use Shadowborn or you learn early enough to not rely on it.

Perks are pretty fungible for Nurse. It's all a matter of preference. I go with Corrupt/PGTW/BBQ/Agitation. Add-ons are nothing, double recharge, or range recharge.
Some indoor maps are simply a pain. You don't deal with Lerys/RPD so much as you make the best of them and try to forget the experience afterwards. Make sure to rate it 1 fun out of 5 in the postgame screen.
Midwich is one of her best maps though.
As far as dealing with jungle gyms and LOS breaks, be patient. Don't be afraid to walk. A lot of Nurse players fall into the trap of thinking they need to blink all the time. Don't blink if you're in chase and have zero information to go by. It's always better to blink efficiently and accurately than volume blink and miss.
If you don't know where a survivor is at a tile, walk, listen, and look through every window/nook/cranny. You don't need full LOS. You just need to hear footsteps, see some grass move, etc. Search the tile from the inside of the map outward. Don't give them the inside of the map or blink blindly to the outside. If you miss, they'll vanish (assuming they're any good).

Best build is probably corrupt , infectious fright , star struck, bbq, and if your feeling really good then take off corrupt and put on agitation so you can get to hooks faster and down with star struck.

I'm all ears is a great perk for Nurse, especially on indoor maps. The cool down is a bit long imo but you can get quick downs when it procs.

It's probably not the best build but I've been running floods of rage, make your choice, corrupt intervention, and infectious fright, I've just trying to mix and match some of the new perks into my build here and there but honestly if you're still learning I wouldnt run perks or add ONS and stick through the rough patch and in a few weeks after you feel like you've got everything figured out then I would start playing around with different add ONS and builds because learning her base kit properly is the most important thing and you don't want to rely on crutches when you're starting or you'll feel like you have to have them in order to play her but if you take my advice and tough out the rough patch and go with nothing once you do run things you'll dominate most of your games with her because you were able to hold your own before it all

A fun buld is third seal and plaything, been enjoying that. Would suggest the scream add-on, it doesnt change how she play's, gives some small info if you blink past a survivor is sort of fun.
Indoor map tips here we go.
Basically all maps have a level of static setup outside of the RNG. Indoor map layouts are heavier in this regard with RPD and Midwhich being the most static and not having any real layout change while Lery's and the Game will have some element of RNG you'll have to adapt to. So it basically boils down to remembering and creating a wireframe for those maps so your not blinking short because there was a wall and being able to cut off survivor's unexpectantly. I forced myself to play Lery's and Hawkin's alot to get those maps down and it worked pretty well considering there the more difficult ones in my opinion.
I'd suggest Stridor but the change where Iron Will just kill's it's use and some killer add-ons makes it redundant these days.
Other Perk's would be information based, like nurse's or all ear's, usually best to take 1 info perk but nurse can use basically all perks. (Save the best for last and play with your food don't give her anything.
It's not necessary to do 2 blink's for traversal, sometimes it's better to eat the fatigue and then get another full first blink.
You don't have to play nice and you will need to eat dead hard swings.
Knowing your lunge is also a great tip i see alot of nurse player's struggle with, they generally swing every time when chasing and get a longer fatigue for it, so get use to feeling for the distance and start practicing not swinging. It's small but helps.

Did you try her without it and how much of an advantage did it give you

I dont think that Shadowborn gives any advantage. But it feels odd to play her without Shadowborn for me.

I should try to remove it so I use that slot for something meta

I would not in the slighest condiser myself a "pro" nurse but I like to consider myself competent at her. For indoor maps just general game sense is the main thing but if you are really struggling IAE or other aura perks can help. As for best build theres a lot of routes to go. Something like deadlock ruin corrupt and that one bird lady perk is good but also infectious, retribution, haunted, ruin or devour is good. The "best" build for Nurse relies completely on your playstyle.
EDIT: Forgot to mention stridor and spoon for the indoor maps bit.

Can anyone explain to me how starstruck works please

Something to add to the end of this about "sometimes don't attack". If you do a first blink and don't think you can get a second blink, but you accidentally start charging the second blink, you can just keep holding blink until you go into fatigue. You won't use your second blink and you'll be back to two blinks faster with less fatigue.
