Blood Pact/Object Of Obsession needs to be kill switched immediately
For some reason posts about this get deleted? why? there's a huge wall hack problem where you can use these perks together to see the killers aura forever while you are injured. I get you don't want people to use it but isn't this what the kill switch is for? Not a good look when posts are being deleted instead of the issue being addressed!!!

Uhh, with the Onryo spam right now.....I don't think it 's that big of a deal. If you wanna go have 1 way wallhacks against you vs. stealth killers be my guest

Onryo still needs to uncloak to hit you? so this is still a problem even for stealth killers, plus you really suggesting everyone is only playing onryo right now? How can you not see how this is a huge problem?

It is. Every post on this forum is basically a waste of time. The dev's don't read most of them.
If the killer is in undetectable 90% of the game, then this combo doesn't work. In fact it totally benefits the killer. So when the killer being played the overwhelming majority of the time is an undetectable killer, who cares?
I had to deal with Object being perma wallhacks for years, even against stealth killers. If it's back but they need to be injured and it takes 2 perk slots now, I don't care that much. I beat it back then and ill beat it now if I see it.

The problem with this bug is that you don't get vision on survivor. Only survivor can see you

I don't think they will kill switch because there is not game breaking bug. Nurse and Wake Up kill switched because they had more serious issues. But this bug probably will fix with next bug-fix update.

Your logic is hilariously flawed, first off nobody cares you used to beat people with the old object, you're not special for doing that. So using this as an opportunity to boast about how you "beat them then and you'll beat them now" is just weird. The facts here are this is an unintended effect of this combination so it needs to be addressed, even if this somehow was never a problem for stealth killers (and it is, try going against good survivors abusing this combo and let me know how that goes) that's still a vast majority of the killers in the game who can't do anything about this. It's straight up delusion to now see the issue here.

You must have missed the part where I said I already played this game. I already had to go against perma wallhacks object on maps with 2x the pallets of the current ones. So now it's back, and they have to be injured the whole time and undetectable is a thing? I'm not worried about it at all. I didn't see a single person try it the whole weekend.

It is not a big deal, the killer can see the survivor auras. It is not game breaking enough to warrant killswitching it.
Besides, the two perks are useless on their own.

Yeah, you may want to watch some of the vids out there on it. The undetectable status is not helping at all in loops. You can see everything the killer does. Even when Pig tries the crouch dash move or Onryo fades in and out. You still get plenty of wall hack time to react.
This is a gross bug and should be kill switched immediately.

Killer can't get 100% aura sight on survivors during loops. Go look at the numerous vids showing how easy it is to loop any killer due to having full-time wall hacks.

I actually believe they can't, but even if they could, the Survivor gets a lot more out of it than the Killer does.

They are wasting half of their build for an aura reading. Killers still have BBQ and other addons that show auras.

the killer can't see the aura because OoO is only meant to show the killer Aura when the killer can see the survivor Aura ( every 30 seconds at least depending on killer build), so while the survivor can see the killer's aura permanently the killer can only see the survivor's aura on certain ocassions
also no these perk don't suck, blood pack is great and OoO is a good risk reward perk

You can see the obsesion aura with Blood Pact but not killer aura, and OOO doesnt give you perma aura reading

Reports in the bug form are claiming that Object of Obsession is crashing the game. So something might actually be game breaking.

That's not true, killer gets a lot more benefit from aura reading. Knowing where survivors are located with BBQ is a tremendous benefit. It is almost gamebreaking. The only thing survivors can do with an aura is react.

Are you pretending or do you really not understand it?
BBQ shows you the auras only for 6 seconds - if you see the killer walking in your direction after the hook you just can walk away.
But if you see the killer all the time you just can evade him - all the time. He will not find you with this.

Doctor always know where you are, is that fair? Let's not pretend killers don't always know where survivors are located.
Blight also has an aura addon that. Wraith too.

Yes they have. But if you see the doctor - all the time - you walk to the other side of the map.
He only finds you if you are in his terror radius when he blasts.
Also you see Blight and Wraith - all the time - so what you are doing? Walk to the other side of the map maybe? See a pattern here?

If it is crashing game, they have to kill-switch. But i doubt they will do it because of aura reading.

Put your money where your mouth is, go against a 4 man swf with thousands of hours and let them use this and see what happens.
You're that person who can't an issue in something unless it inconveniences you personally. I haven't gone against this myself but i mention it because I can see the massive issue that this is. This is not intentional and giving any decent survivor wallhacks like this is really bad. Why do you think original object got changed on the first place?

It can be both. Unlimited unconditional aura reading at infinite distance can very much be game breaking in a different way.

OoO+ Blood Pact is bugged, Wake Up is bugged and even the shop itself is bugged.

The thing is if you purposely always avoid the killer you'll lose the game. You have to do the gens in order to escape. The doctor will be there blasting where he thinks you are and his terror radius can be very large, even larger with addons.

So 3rd party software cheaters tend to avoid bans...a lot. Now we finally have something easy we can do to prevent wall + speedhacks and we're not kill switching it?
So a bug that can crash your game caused by wake up? Removed it. A hard-to-recreate Nurse bug? Have fun seeing ONLY Blight at high mmr. Grabs are already buggy. I have 400+ hrs on Nurse and have gotten post blink grabs twice. Either the grab wouldn't happen because grabs are garbage or they would...move? I don't disagree with removing her until it was fixed, but some cosistency would be nice. I had played her multiple times just before she was switched off with 0 issues.
But wall hacks and perma speedboost? Fine. All good. Totally not exploitable and doesn't need fixing. I mean it's not like people who use 3rd party cheats get banned all that often anyways, given that I've gone against the same ones multiple times. I stopped reporting them at this point.
Infinite on Badham? It's fine. I guess I'll just DC at the offering screen since I'm getting offered there constantly.

Once everyone gets bored of Sadako, killer players are gonna drop like flies (again). The one stat they'll never tell us in Q&As is the killer to survivor ratio.
Eventually I'm gonna get tired of seeing this game collecting dust on my desktop and uninstall but I keep hoping it will get better. Please get better! This game could be so good if it was given some QoL and game health updates rather than focusing on new releases. There is so much going with interesting game mechanics, a neat niche, and licenses for so many horror icons. Please listen to the community and give the game the love it deserves.

So it looks like Badham wont be killswitched so maybe BHVR will killswitch the wall hack perk combo? OBO and blood pact combined will allow you to constantly see the killers aura. Ffs BHVR.
