So I played with a newbie today

Hey,

I've had my fair share of DBD. It's actually the first game I've been invested in, trying to learn the lore, watching videos to get better, etc.

I started playing with friends that convinced me I'd be able to sleep just fine after it.

It's a really frustrating game and both sides can be so toxic.

My friend's girlfriend was watching us today and he decided to hand her the control and said to her: don't worry, she'll tell you everything you need to know.

Oh my days...

First of all, I never thought I was an expert, but holy crap! I heard a plague come and told her it was a Leatherface 😂

We had really crappy teammates, two literally blocked the exit gate until the very last second. She managed to get out, I died.

On other two matches, 3 of them out of a total of 4 randoms did literally nothing apart from crouching around. No gens, no saves, just hiding.

But, BUT, it was so fun to experience first hand this person's first interaction with the game. She's seen her partner play, but it was positively overwhelming.

The killers, their powers, their perks, our perks, running when the killer finds you, what the different objects do.

I don't know why I'm typing all of this, I just wanted to be able to maybe read it at a later date and realise you can still enjoy the game like you did the first time or get close to it.

Goodnight everyone ❤️
