Dear people of the fog,

I have been thinking about the daily rituals lately and how their rewards differ quite a lot between killer and survivor (and what you need to do). So I did my usual brainstorming and put the results here. Basically I wanted to make the gap between survivor/killer reward smaller and rework the general system. Especially on the survivors side, rituals can be a pain, because you can't control if f.e. someone else opens the exit (not all can read read chat!). Also BP are way too low.

I would like to know what you think.


General:

  • max number of daily rituals: 3
  • number of daily ritual rerolls per day: 1
  • number of new daily rituals per day: 1
  • if you already have 3 rituals and did not reroll, after finishing one ritual you get another one
  • you can choose if you want to do the killer or survivor version and progress is tracked with both sides (similar to the mixed archive challengens)


Survivor:

50k:

  • Blood Dance (heal 3 as X)
  • Rite of Ruin (sabo hooks)

60k:

  • Reconstruction Ritual (do 3 gens)
  • The Survivor Ritual (rescue 3 as X)

75k:

  • Wild Dance (2min chase as X)
  • The Initiation (3min co-op)

100k:

  • Relic Veneration (new item)
  • The Awakening (survive with X)
  • The Way of Light (open exit as X)


Killer:

50k:

  • Rites of the XXX (use power X times)
  • new: Rite of the Way (kick 4 pallets)

60k:

  • new: Ritual of Burden (carry survivor)
  • Worship by Sacrifice (sacrifice 2 as X)

75k:

  • The Hunt Ritual (chase for 3min as X)
  • new: Ritual of the Shrine (get 6 hook states)

100k:

  • new: Last Resort (hook 1x during EGC)
  • Mors Ambitio (Mori with killer X)
  • new: No Escape (close hatch as X)


How exactly would these fit together? Here is an example:

Daily 1: 50k

Heal a total of 3 survivors' health states as Laurie Strode or as The Shape level up The Evil Within 4 times.

Daily 2: 100k

Escape and survive as Jeff Johansen or kill a survivor with your own hands as The Legion.

Daily 3 (f.e. if you only have one character of a chapter): 75k

Get chased by the killer for 120 seconds as Mikaela Reid or Get 6 hook states as a killer.
