Fix tunneling meta

I kinda blame MMR for this. Kills being the reason why they go up in the system mean they're gonna do whatever it takes to get kills, which includes tunneling and camping to oblivion. Yes I know people tunneled before but now being the condition for them to rank up, it gives incentive to do it.

I will chase and hook the first survivor that comes into my vision, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. What am I supposed to do? Ignore you, wish you a good day, and let you work on that generator while I go and look for someone else? Come on.
If you're always the first to be found, perhaps you're playing the game incorrectly. Some people just hop on the gen in the centre of the map, and then wonder why the killer is on their butt. Entirely avoidable. Some people try and hide behind a tree that's half the width of their character model, and wonder why they get caught. Also entirely avoidable. Though, if the killer is running Lethal Pursuer then there's a 1 out of 4 chance there's nothing you can do about it. Survivors are the killers objective, and I don't blame them for taking care of it. A survivor wouldn't just ignore a half-repaired generator and go look for another one either. k
Survivors are there to be sacrificed, and someone is always the first one. That's just how the game goes.

It's hard to not tunnel on the likes of mothers dwelling

I just find it odd that there are survivors within range, way easier and in worse positions and the killer will walk right past them.
I had a game where I had to literally body block a killer in a hallway to give another survivor a better chance to escape. He hits me then continues to chase and tunnel the other survivor.
Ok, back to gens I guess.

Gen speeds continue to stay untouched therefore killers will keep tunneling because it gets them ahead tunneling someone out. I try not to tunnel, it's boring to chase one person all game. But if you can tunnel 1 person out and there are still 2 to 3 gens needing to be done killer wins basically.

When the unhook happens, I immediately beeline back to the hook if I'm not in a chase, and I want to say 8 / 10 times, all I can find is the injured, freshly unhooked person. At that point, don't get angry at the killer, get angry at the teammates. Though some unhooked survivors see me coming and still decide to run my way, so IDK.

They have BT. I always wait it out and rehook them if they run to me, that's simple abuse. It's meant to help them get away not run into the killers face.

A good chunk of those who run straight at me don't have endurance. If I'm feeling nice I just slug them and wait for someone to come and pick them up, then go after that person instead. If the match is going down the drain though, I just get it over with.

The reason for that is pretty simple. Current game state means winning as killer is all about how quickly you can get to a 3v1, or even better a 2v1 situation. The most efficient way to achieve that is to focus down the first survivor you can, either the weakest runner, or the one you think may be responsible for the CoH boon, or just the one who's easiest to spot because they're in neon pink.
Personally I focus on whoever dropped the boon. Currently focus downing the survivor who brings it is the best counter to boon perks. So that means If I know you brought the boon, I'll ignore everyone else until you and the boon are out. Nothing personal, just the best way I have to try and win the game.

Is the boon thing why I always get tunneled? I'm a Mikaela main and killers will randomly drop chase with and injured survivor there about to down to chase me for 5 gens.
I also find survivors show me where totems are and point at it all the time. It's funny because I haven't had CoH on in awhile.

Almost certainly. If there is a boon in play, it's easy to assume the Mikaela did it. Honestly if I was in your position (which I am like 80% of the time, lol) I'd just take CoH. Sure people call it broken and op, but they say that about so many perks on both sides, so why bother listening? Either way you'll be assumed to have it, may as well get the benefits of the perk
