Ah yes, the Second to last piece of the Book that required far more work than it was worth to honest. BHVR has been adamant that they want to remove Bloodlust at some point but because it's a mandatory (in some cases) tool that makes catching survivors easier they couldn't. So, I used that as a base for the perks. The other major feature that I wanted to try and push for improvement with, The Red Stain, was a bit harder to make work with until....

Explaining the ordeal actually became difficult once the power was required. it was by this point that I learned that all of the Ordeals in Lobotomy Corporation were made of a special substance in the game's universe that causes memories to become real. This is where the rest of the power comes from. The substance, drawing from the memories of A, made them slightly more powerful than their real-life counterparts being roughly equivalent in power to The He. if we were to remove that aspect of the Killer then only that special Lunge attack would stay, and the rest would be removed and left as unused content.

This killer is one of the more beginner friendly designs I have made where the Power encourages and rewards a thing all killers should do; Generator Patrol.

The Ordeal

Biography:

The Fog while absorbing parts of the headquarters that attracted its attention collected a substance holding the memories of something.

“Sweep for mother, dine on those around.

Ordin took this to heart.

Her first sweep was about to begin.

Breaking through the wall of Nest L, Ordin opened the way for her family.

Pushing through many that were out during her time, she made it to the main building of L-Corp, at the worst possible time.

Pushing in with her family and neighbors, she opened the wall and was face to face with a monster.

It was small, barely to her waist.

Pushing through the pain it put on her mind, she fought and killed this monster, but its body didn’t stay, it faded into smoke.

Suddenly Humans surrounded her, no matter.

Whirling around her arms, she cut into and around every human in sight.

Then one didn’t get cut.

Its suit seemed like it was smiling, sneering at her and her family.

Orbs appeared around this one.

It shot at her and attacked again in her mind.

All the pain she felt came and went quickly, but a ringing could be heard.

She died.

Or so she thought, she awoke to the whispers of some force unlike mother.

And fog rolled in.

Opening her vision once more she sees humans once more.

Sweep and Feast.”

Appearance

Sweepers come in 3 varieties, but nothing changes intrinsically about them between these varieties. The picture shows all three types of sweepers, from left to right, Lithe, Bruiser, and Harvester

Ordin herself is the smallest variety of sweeper by default, having a 3-eyed mask and pickaxe-like weapons. The picks glow like they are burning and produce small sparks when breaking walls, generators, and palettes. The tank on the back of Ordin moves and the contents inside sway with motion. The weapon recovery animation shows the weapon glow brighter for a moment and all blood on it disappears into it.

The Ordeal latches onto the survivor with their weapon and the survivor starts to scream as The Ordeal pulls them into what looks like on the outside to be a very tight hug. As the hug is happening the tank(s) on the back of The Ordeal glow brighter for the duration. When The Ordeal releases the “hugging” position the survivor is missing. The Ordeal’s eye(s) glow brighter for a second then resumes hunting processes.

Stats

Size: Average

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Speed: 4.6 m/s

Power: Indigo Noon

Main Ability:

Your Form is made of a special memetic agent that brings memories to the forefront.

Pressing the Power Button activates Indigo Noon for 80 seconds.

While any number of Generators need to be completed, upon activation, Indigo Noon causes any generator within 48 meters of The Ordeal to emit a Smoke in a 12 meter radius for 60 seconds. that causes any survivor caught in it to see the Red Stain behind them. This effect lingers for 15 seconds after leaving the Smoke (The Ordeal cannot see this Red Stain). Any generator emitting Smoke is shown in a Dark Blue. The Smoke emitted does not hinder vision.

When the Exit Gates are powered, both switches emit Smoke similarly to Generators passively. Each switch takes turns emitting smoke for 20 seconds. Activating Indigo Noon during this time will cause both switches to emit smoke. When a gate is opened the both switches stop emitting smoke.

While Indigo Noon is active, any survivor covered by the Red Stain is inflicted with Blindness.

While Indigo Noon is active, the sounds of Survivors hiding in lockers are increased by 300%

While traveling through Smoke, all auras of survivors within 16 meters that are covered by the red stain are revealed to you.

You cannot activate Indigo Noon again for 30 seconds after it ends.

Special Attack: Sweep The Street

Pressing the Attack Button while Indigo Noon is active, will cause The Ordeal to perform a Special Lunge Attack. (This attack counts as a Special Attack for other effects)

This attack injures survivors, but does not put survivors into the dying state unless a Survivor is hit 5 times over a single Indigo Noon.

Any survivor hit by this attack is inflicted with the Incapacitated effect for 30 seconds and a 5% Hindered effect for 20 seconds, and they cannot leave the trial via the exit gates for 10 seconds.

Hitting the survivors repeatedly reduces the cooldown between the hits by a cumulative 4% decrease (maxing out at 40% (10 hits to maximum)) and increases the speed of the Lunge by a cumulative 2% (maxing out at 40% (20 hits to maximum)). There is a short window of time (3 seconds) between hits and if a survivor is not hit in this timeframe, the chain is interrupted and this effect resets.

After hitting survivors 3 times with a Sweep The Street Chain, any Generator or Exit Gate Switch that is emitting smoke will lose 5% progression. This effect applies again to every other hit in a chain after the effect begins.

Perks

Persistence

Never relenting on a chase, you don’t stop anything you set your mind to.

Bloodlust takes 3/4/5 seconds longer to dissipate.

Hitting a Survivor and breaking palettes no longer resets Bloodlust.

“Their strategies are to overcome all obstacles through sheer numbers. And they don’t ever go down without a fight” - A Grade 5 Fixer

Surprise Intelligence

People are often unassuming about how advanced your mind is.

If you down a survivor while you have bloodlust, reveal the auras of all survivors within 6/8/10 meters of all incomplete generators.

“They have the capacity to collectively go somewhere with a clear purpose at a time that isn’t night? And talk so fluently?” - The Black Silence

Scourge Hook: Corpse Cleanup

Not many know what happens to a corpse you get your hands on.

At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks:

  • The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white.

When a survivor is sacrificed on a Scourge Hook, all remaining survivors suffer from the Oblivious and Blindness status effects for 40/50/60 seconds.

I am completely burnt out on making up names for any of these things if by Part 9 I figure out good stuff for it I will put them in there. but for now, not really worth the trouble.

Small Reminder that once Part 8 is released any and all questions about any aspects of any killer or survivor in this book + any changes made from chapters released during the time will start being catalogued answered and placed into part 9.
