What do survivors think about the new killer meta?
So if I'm right the new killer meta right now is dead man's switch and pain resonance. I personally don't run it nor ruindying cause I just don't typically follow the meta, but the reason I'm asking is because the last meta wasn't received very well (ruin/undying) so I'm curious as to how you feel about these new perks?

I like it more than ruin undying tinkerer because it feels better in solo but also it's still got the issue of being substantially better on Blight/Nurse/Spirit than it'll ever be on say Pyramid/Wraith/Nemesis

I think it’s really nice BHVR made a ton of good perks recently that offer a lot more diversity.

Just get use to letting go of the gen before the killer hooks and you have just countered two of the killers perks.

I've been using these perks for ages.
I prefer pain resonance over pop on my slow killers.

Dead Man's Switch, Scourge Hook and Iron Grasp. Not 100% perfect but works really well.

Depends which killer is using it, low tier killer I personally don't mind it, killers like Nurse or Blight? I'd rather just play killer myself

They know generators are too fast so they've been selling DLC with gen slowdown perks. I wouldn't call it "nice".

Killer meta look balance than survivor meta.
Survivor meta too strong.

They both are rough for solo survivors like myself. Cant really tell the team "Hey let go of gen for few secs until he hooks". Ruin, undying, tink I have mixed feelings about. On one hand solos dont have the time to cleanse a bunch of bones and the other hand we can spawn on top of them deleting perks 14 secs into the gm.
Cant delete DMS or PR. Also depends on killer being used.

That new meta requires skill unlike sitting on gen and hitting skill checks

I still hate the fact we even have something like low tier killer. Sure you always have the strongest and the weakest but the gap between these two is way to big in Dbd

Honestly I'm not sure if we can call it "new meta" because, effectively it's no different from old meta.
