It's pretty fitting given her back story.
The outfit idea seems pretty grim but that's what DBD is all about.
Giving her that all black lace look with a laced black veil seems like it just connects her story and lore.
She still is a grieving widow over the loss of Andrew. Why not express that with an outfit and cosmetic.
She most likely wore it once before, why not wear it again while she seeks out the beloved Survivors.
