BHVR needs to do something asap
I just played a killer game and with this, it's been the 7th game i found a cheater (hacker) in the last TWO DAYS. This one had speed hacks, today in the afternoon a Ghostface, same. Yesterday they they had clear wallhacks and another team had superpowers (you all know what i'm talking about). I could sit here and tell you the most various types of cheats i've ever seen in a videogame, but i think that i'll cut it just to a simple:
''BHVR, you need to do something about this, as soon as possible. As you yourselves said, in-game report is not enough, and please don't think that i really have the time in my life to fill a ticket every single time i meet a hacker, because right now you'd have your e-mail inbox full of my tickets, although i am sure that it is already full enough. I bet i'm not the first one to complain about this matter, and i hope i'm not the last.
This game has become unpleasant and unfair to play recently, and these hackers know that they won't be stopped, they all say the same thing: BHVR doesn't ban hackers. And they are right. And you, devs, and all the team who works behind the scenes, need to get the situation back under control. I won't be playing the game anymore until something is done. I hope at least a few people will follow me because this has to reach BHVR, this cannot be tolerated anymore. It's worse than any other issue we've ever had on this game, and the developers seem to not care about it.''

Hmm let me explain about the cheater problem.
First : Easy Anti Cheat is a problem, not the devs.
The circuit is simple, NEW CHEAT —-> PATCHED BY ANTICHEAT
And it’s a loop.
Like an tag game.

All reports go to spam, the main one is filled.

Hackers are a massive problem in many games. Unfortunately if big AAA companies can't stop hackers, then dbd won't be able to.
On a side note I got accused of cheating a week ago. I play on console so I find it funny that I got accused lol

Hackers can trick the game into thinking they're playing on another platform, so having a globe next to your name doesn't mean you're cleared of any suspicions.

This does not do that much IMO.
The thing is, Cheaters are banned in waves. So if you start cheating right now, you will probably have a few days before you get banned, ruining matches for everyone.
And even without being free on Epic, DBD is such a cheap game, you can get it on Key-Sites for a few bucks (under 4 Euros). Yes, this is paying money, but you can ######### around for probably at least a week, because you only need the Basegame and you dont need to rebuy the Cheating Pack you have bought.

Really? I've never even thought about that being possible

Also Epic and Microsoft Store players have globes to Steam players.

They dont ban people,I made report with obvious proof of someone hacking and a few days later nothing happened they are still not banned.

Yes but you can tell with someones name if it is generally console or not (underscores and numbers). People on pc/epic games don't usually try to pretend to be console players.

+1 to this. I recently turned off crossplay because I've found the community to be much less toxic before/after matches knowing that they can communicate with each other. However, since turning it off, I'd estimate about 5-10% of my matches have been against a hacking killer. I've seen it all, it's gotten stale. Various forms, sometimes pretending to be a survivor, instantly downing everyone, trapping us in the match by resetting generator progress, etc. I've even seen the same hacker three times now (after reporting him on both steam and in-game). It's a little disappointing that this is so prevalent.
Here's hoping something can be done. Not everyone enjoys being flown around out of bounds for 45 minutes. I've never left a match intentionally, but some of these slogs being held hostage have tempted me.

I don't think its free beyond the one week. But still yes
