You get some vile people playing this game
Topped out my rank so experimented with perks.
Trapper on Cold wind. Map is huge for trapper.
Did pretty bad but they got cocky and ended up downed near the basement.
Ended up with a 3k.
If they run down there with trapper well what can I say.
Chat was a disgrace. Saying things like they hope my mum gets cancer.
All sorts of filth.

Why would you chat with survivors? Your job is to kill them, not listen to them.

What do you expect, it's an asymmetrical game. Played F13 once after not playing it in months and I got Jason, stomped all of them including Tommy. Got a bunch of people yelling in my ears afterwards about how they could have cheated or how I should have went easier, not to mention I was called every slur under the sun. You get those types of people in EVERY asym game.

How people actually get offended by post game chat is beyond me.
To each there own I guess?

Yeah man just ignore being called slurs its not a big deal /s
L take.

If your the friendly type sure stick around in chat and give props to people who played well its uncommon but usually appreciated. If we keep pushing the us vs them mentality that toxicity will just continue on we must all help it be abolished.

How do people get so triggered over a videogame is all?
Sure it's a frustrating game at times but just wow.
I play both but the wait times for survivor often put me off.
No surprise with the unbalanced lack of killers really.
You reap what you sow survivor mains. To those who deserve it enjoy the wait.
Chat can be alright sometimes of course.

Report them bc it's a bannable offence lmao

Because shockingly some people don't enjoy being told that their family deserve to get a horrific terminal illness that's claimed the lives of many, or be called rather offensive terms with real-life connotations, and maybe being a decent person isn't that difficult of a challenge?
(and I stg, the fact that you existed in a pre-2016 COD lobby isn't a valid excuse to keep the same levels of toxicity in any other video game).

Yeah I was going to but I forgot the shadowplay save. Such a hassle too.

normal administration if you play as killer... i've more than 50 pages of salt in my comment section on steam... doesn't matter how you play, they'll always complain and throw insults. just laugh at/ignore them, they aren't worth your time

You don't need video evidence to report a chat offence. Just wait for it to all come out (hide chat most likely if you don't wanna see it all after they start) and then report them for chat abuse.

The thing is I was playing weaker perks just for a change of tactics.
Which sometimes works on smaller maps.
I wouldn't have cared if they all got away.
Was kind of hilarious how dumb they were but I never said a word about it until they flipped.

Will do thanks.

Some people just cant take an L,people like this are in most online games, best you can do is ignore them, they're not worth your effort.

Yeah I do in general but they stepped over the line and deserve punishment.

I don't get offended by it, but I can certainly understand how someone would much more easily than I can understand how someone could get so butthurt by someone else's gameplay that they'd verbally assault them.

You would be surprised how low human decency can go when they know they are protected by online anonymity. One of the biggest banes the internet has brought upon us.
Everyone is protected by an alias and, without commiting real criminal acts, nearly untraceable for the common folks and get away with all sorts of things they wouldn't never dare to do/say if they were eyetoeye with people.

You can report them with ticket and proof,BHVR does state they temporarily ban people for toxicity in chat, but who knows if they actually ban them.
