REENVISION: This Is Not Happening
PERK
You perform at your best when you are under extreme stress.
Your chance to trigger Skill Checks is increased by 30/45/60%
WHY THIS CHANGE
Read the concept of the perk; "You perform at your best when you are under extreme stress."
Since when is having an axe shoved in the back of your neck (Hurt State) the equivalence of Stress?
Not only is the perk not even thematically consistent, it has barely any use. The people that would need this perk wouldn't even be able to use it.
So let's change that.
By increasing the skillcheck frequency, I think we have something that comes closer to representing "Stress". Against perks like Hex Ruin or Killers like doctor, this perk might not be what you want, but in other cases:
It offers you more points in the Objective category, It allows great players to hit more Great Skill Checks and for all the no-mither Golden Blurs out there, you can add this to your build of making the game harder for yourself and can be rewarded for it.
Suddenly it's a perk with personality! Enjoy.

Wouldnt an increase in skillcheck frequency that high enable skilled survivors to rush through gens with lots of greats skillchecks?
Im reminded of those 25 seconds bnp.0 -

And Autodidact would be bonkersNot particularly considering that you run 2 perks for it.
You'll basically have a 100% functioning autodidact and a 60% functioning autodidact.
Having 2 autodidacts would be stronger.0 -

If great players would be able to hit these great skillchecks that often (and seeing Marth88's gameplay, he too fails a fat bad skill check for trying to do so from time to time) then people would run Hex Ruin more often, maybe with an added Hex: Thrill Of The Hunt. If a killer defends the hex ruin decently then the perk would still do more harm then good, and the 60% extra good skill checks costing 7 seconds will not make up for the 1.6 second bonuses that they might hit, by the time Ruin is gone.
