Pips
Why do we lose pips? I had a game where I was chased all game, camped and tunnelled and then I am penalised because I haven't been able to do anything? I had DS and BT, the kinda thing that helps prevent this but he still chases me till I die, then I still lose a pip? Why? I can't do anything when the killers sole focus is on me all game. Recently this is all the happens and I used to love this game but I am finding it frustrating enough to be camped etc, to then find out I am being, essentially told what I have done in game isn't good enough? Is it just me, or should we not lose pips?

The pip emblems system is weird I had a lot of good games with a 4k or 3k I did chase and kick a lot of gens and played correctly but I end up getting 0 pip which doesn't make any sense ..

I think at the higher levels, they are harder to obtain but I would have thought 3k definitely warrants progress as that is your main goal. Surviour progress seems to be more altruism based, which is why people are often farmed from hooks, unfortunately. I really hope some adjustments are made soon for boths sides as its a very inconsistent and confusing system!

From my experience and time played looks like the killer emblem system wants you to run across the gens over and over and over hooking people which is too difficult in the current meta that sort of play style keeping gens from finishing can't be done and results in 4 escapes usually it's random for me I just play the best I can and pray for that +1 even if I preform well + long games I get the 0 pips a lot I hope it gets optimized more soon.

If you're camping you'll lose emblems after staying close to a hook. Also, hooks matter for emblem points. If you have 8 hooks but 0K you can make it to gold grade without ever having killed a survivor.
