How would you rework nurse?
Title

-
I would give her her 7 blinks back and reduce her post blink fatigue.

I wouldn’t. Most people have it backwards: Nurse doesn’t prevent the game from being balanced; she exposes how laughably unfair the game is for most killers. The game itself would need a rework to be balanced, not individual killers. I doubt that BHVR would ever do this though. It’s easier and more profitable to cater to bad players.

No need, Nurse is fine.
14 -
Increase her movement speed to 4.4 m/s and reduce her to just a single blink (her second blink, not her first blink) I would also have attacks being used right after phasing be a special attack rather than a basic attack.
2 -
I think she shouldn't be able to short her blink after it was initially a long one? Idk
1 -
Make Plaid Flannel Basekit and nerf her purple blink speed increase add-on.
0 -
Make her post-Blink attacks count as Special Attacks
2 -
I would shorten the fatigue time and I would make it to where she can blink through the hills on any map that has one, for those of you who don't know the nurse can't blink through those big hills in the maps she has to blink on top of it then to the other side of it

Shorten fatigue slightly and recharge rate slightly. That's it. Or maybe make it less of a pain when on multi floor maps.

This.
And built in double recharge + nerf range add ons.

It's too late to do anything major to her.
0 -
Remove omegablink and double recharge, and increase her fatigue after a miss attack so that there's more counterplay
3 -
Might as well introduce her as the 5th survivor who helps you do gens with this kind of nerfs nobody would ever play her.
Without addons, she is very easy to juke and escape. I know I mastered nurse myself, but I have never struggle against a nurse without addons, I can litteraly keep them busy for 5 gens. Basic blinks are slow and if you add the fatigue, she is not even that fast.
With addons she is a threat, but that is how every killer should be.

Firstly, I don't think they should touch Nurse until the devs go over every map and manually make each and everyone more balanced/fair for killers and survivors, to where both sides have a fair shot at the game.
Once that happens, I'd buff her movement speed, remove the fatigue all together and put her blink on a 10-15 second cooldown. Maybe give her an iridescent add-on that gives her a second blink.

Two things are mandatory which need changing:
- Blinking through Walls needs to go.
- Increase of Movement Speed to at least 4,4m/s
First thing is what makes Nurse broken, because she ignores Pallets and Windows. Second is what makes her harder to learn (I think the difficulty of learning Nurse is greatly overexaggerated, but being the one Killer who moves slower than Survivors make her harder to pick up for newer players).
On Top of those mandatory things, her Kit should be tweaked around that. Like, Blinks as a Power are still fine, but they need to be adjusted so that they help with chases, but are not her only tool to catch Survivors.

I did suggest in a post to nerf her so she couldn't look down at the floor to readjust her blink. Essentially making it so she WILL go as far as she holds her first blink, no readjusting based on what the survivor is doing, she has to commit and try to make a right read. This would also apply to her second or third blink but she can always hold onto the blink for too long to force fatigue anyway at that point.Note: This wouldn't (or rather shouldn't) affect her blinking up or down floors. But no one liked this idea when I suggested it before so I doubt anyone will here either.EDIT: I actually don't like my nerf suggestion anymore.

I would remove both blinks, up her movement speed to 4.4 and keep the fatigue after she misses a swing to provide more counterplay and make her less boring and unfun to play against

She doesn't need a rework, survivors just need a "rebrain".
I've had 7k hour survivors moaning about her and all they do is hold W and dead hard.
Survivors who yo-yo and break line of sight mess me up big time.

Id leave her alone and rework the rest of the game.

I'd leave her alone. It's very possible to extend chases against good Nurses. The devs shouldn't cave to players who won't improve. The roster is already overly homogenized and redundant as it is. If you can play one low skill cap zoning M1 killer, you can play half the roster.

pls god no i would actually cry if they did that the little marker is so annoying
0 -
Maybe tone down the brightness on the marker then, because I find it useful to know where you blink
0 -
people already hate this idea lol

At this point I literally don't care about her power, I'm just fed up of people stacking slowdown / exposure perks on a killer that literally ignores every line of defence that survivors have in chase.

So basically, turn her into what nearly every other dang killer in DbD already is. So much fun and variety. Nurse is fine.
Did you forget a “/s” at the end of your post? 🤣
Nurse doesn’t ignore survivor defenses; she only changes how you use them. Same as Huntress, Spirit, Nemesis, and others. If you have issue with her, you best be complaining about them too.

Huntress: slow killer, takes time to pull up a hatchet, pre dropping can be used to prevent getting hit by said hatchet
Nurse: Can noclip through said pallet at practically any time she wants
Not really comparable are they?
1 -
Make her 50% speed with a single blink that only goes 10m with a 30 second cooldown and the fatigue time lasts 20 seconds to give survivors a chance to hide.
There you go.
0 -
Nurse: even slower than Huntress, has to charge her blink (giving audio and visual cues to the survivors of all she is doing, like Huntress), and has to charge long enough and aim the blink to properly avoid or read the pallet.
And no, not any time she wants. She has to have available blink charges.
Don’t see the problem here.

"So basically, turn her into what nearly every other dang killer in DbD already is. So much fun and variety. Nurse is fine."
Yep. Sorry, Nurse is a Killer which would not be released like this today because the Devs have a way bigger understanding what would be good for the game or not when compared to the beginning of the game.
Most things of 2016 are not a thing anymore, except for Nurse. There is 0 reason why this one design failure should stay in the game.
3 -
4.4 speed. Her blink power gains a token every 3sec (fail to hit after double blink will have to wait for 6sec). Keep the fatigue.
(just writing, not even know if its good)
