normally wouldn't complain, but...
tunneling and camping never really seemed like an issue to me up until i realized how annoying it is for someone to wait 15 minutes for a survivor game only to be tunneled and camped until dead. i'm not the best survivor, so i understand the strat to eliminating the weak link early in the match, but to sit above basement as a fully-charged oni while 4 gens are done seems a little overkill.
to reiterate, camping and tunneling are a strat in some circumstances, but in the situation described above, and adding the factor of long asf queue times for surv, i think im justified to feel frustrated.

I'm curious, whats your region? I don't think I ever waited 15 minutes for a dbd match in my life.
I understand your frustration, I always use DS since I always solo queue. I don't think its gonna get better anytime soon since MMR is incentivizing kills over hooks and chases.

The reason why the q times for survs are getting longer and longer and the reason why camping become more popular are the same.
It's hard to be a killer atm. Most killer aren't viable many survivor perks are bustet like CoH single handedly killed the whole hit and run style.
Many killer mains just left the game so the q get longer and the ones that are still there feel like they need to camp and tunnel and maybe it's even a Form of protest.
And befor anyone comes and trys to be smart yes camping exists since the game startet but it got way worse and there is a reason

At this point it's better to blame the BHVR higher ups for seemingly only caring about money or else they would have gotten rid of the "new content every 3 months" thing long ago and would have had their devs make the game actually healthy and fun to play.

Don't like the long survivor queues and hate camping and tunneling?
Switch to killer and play without those things.
You'll soon understand why play killers play like they play.

Depends on the time queues can be long, I'm in NAE and survivor queues are super fast between 3-4am to 5pm? the rest is super fast for killers. At least it's the way it's been for me for years

Also the fact that some Survivors wait till the last seconds to escape...
But yes Camping and Tunneling early in the match is a lot for a Survivor to deal with...
But if Killers don't do that they get flamed (LOL... GGEZ... Baby Killer)

I typically to pretty well as killer. Its a slog with dead hard and boons, but I manage.
But whats really driving me away is the toxicity. If I lose its teabags and clicks. If I win its 2 - 3 people telling me how terrible of a person I am.
Literally tried to play meme builds. Like security guard (never leave shack) trapper. Only attacking people who touched the shack. I was told that "My playstyle was disgusting and didn't allow them to get their dailys" btw not my job.
Who knows maybe it was , I was just trying to have fun. They got 5 free gens out of it.
Point is its a lose/lose scenario. Some killers fire back by being toxic in return. As for me I just cut back how often I play , as have many.

I play on south america server, survivor queues are fast all day until like 9pm /10pm in here. Killer queue takes like 5 minutes to find in the afternoon and are instant at night.

Luckily I only have to wait about 20 seconds to get tunneled and camped!
