Encountering Condemned elodie when not Playing sadako 

Step 1 : Boot the game on Steam & PS4 respectively

Step 2 : Play as non-Sadako killers in public matches against Elodie

Step 3 : Elodie has a flashing red condemned portrait.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • PC (Steam) / PS4
  • Nemesis / Pig
  • Both using Discordance
  • Coldwind / Crotus Prenn
  • Once on each platform

    I don't think that is what you are seeing.


    The BHVR artists modified Elodie's in-game portrait a few months ago (enlarged it to a more consistent face-size per the other survivors) and cropped out portions of her hair to fit the small circle area. Visually, it appears as though she has matted hair in her icon portrait (it's subjectively terrible and looks bad lol). However, when she becomes injured, you can see the "outline" of portions of her hair textures that were "cropped" out. It looks choppy and shoddy, but I do not think it is the condemned status :)

    Thank you for the report on this, the team are aware that there's an issue with Elodie's portrait appearing to show the condemned status - it pulsates from my experience in game (it's not really the condemned status effect showing). It is something that will be addressed in a future update.

    Yeah, as the others said: it's not the Condemned status, it's just that she's injured and the normal red glow/outline Survivors have while injured... Well, hers isn't showing correctly, is all.
