Even if SBMM is working no one can tell

A fair match of DBD can still snowball into a win for either survivor or killer. The killer may just not pick the right gen at the start and then have a bad initial chase. Or 4 really good survivors could get caught out of position and end up in the basement vs Bubba or Huntress. These games are going to "feel" as if the matchmaking is not fair even if the system succeeded in placing a killer with an appropriate group of survivors.

This is why I propose a number of changes to not SBMM but to our ability to gain meaning from SBMM as players.

  1. If you verse a group who has a higher SBMM score than you, earn extra BP. The amount of extra BP doesn't need to be much , I'd say 25 percent bonus if the group you're versing is outside of your typical range (range can be adjusted)
  2. Allow Killers to see how their killers rank next to each other for SBMM. (I am not suggesting being told what the SBMM for each killer is, but maybe something like, Your top 3 killers are 1. Doctor, 2. Wraith 3. Huntress.

These give SBMM meaning and rather than feeling cheated, it can give SBMM meaning and give players the ability to be proud of doing well.
