We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Question for those that play on PS4

Do you have any issue with hitting your button for skill checks not working?

I can hit the L1 button to run and it works fine. Immediate response. It works perfectly in every menu. However, it never works when hitting it for a skill check of any type. It's like it just doesn't register that the button has been hit. I have remapped the buttons to try different buttons. I have tried 3 different controllers. I have tried 3 different users on the PS4. I have deleted and reinstalled DBD twice. I still get the same result.

I have tried the same controllers on the same PS4 in multiple other games and all the buttons work perfectly. It makes no sense whatsoever. All the buttons on my controllers work perfectly in every other instance with anything on my PS4. They even work in DBD with everything other than a skill check. It's like I've been locked out of being able to perform a skill check.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, did you find a solution to fix it?

And yes I have made a post in the appropriate spot here in the forums for a bug entry. I did that yesterday.

I get freezes from specific triggers in the game that screw up skill checks on gens/heals.

As far as the button not working? I've noticed it a few times with the newer skill checks like when I'm wiggling or during the multiple skill checks during yellow glyph/merciless storm. I will be hitting it dead center but it's saying I'm missing the skill check over and over. It's not every time but it's enough for me to wonder what's going on that it's not registering

I occasionally play on console but I'm mostly on PC , a long time ago I had a TV that if it wasn't in game mode then it would have delayed reaction to skill checks, check if your TV is in game mode would be the first place I would try

Yeah I also had that issue when I played on last gen console. Switching to game mode definitely helped.

    No problems here.

There is a small delay which seems kind of ping related.

The usual stutters and hick up freezes when events happen sometimes.

Had to search for game mode in settings. Didn't even know my TV had game mode, but it worked. Thanks so much.
