Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Add a stackable +25% bloodpoint boost for each Shrine of Secrets perk

I posted this on Reddit and was directed here! Just as the title states; a bloodpoint incentive for using the Shrine's perks would be really cool.

For example, this week's perks (at least, for the next 20 minutes) are Ace in the Hole, Streetwise, Bloodwarden, and Territorial Imperative. So any Survivor who brings Ace in the Hole or Streetwise into the trial gets an additional +25% BP at the end of the match for each one, so if they brought both they'd get an extra +50% BP. Likewise for killers. This would be cool for a few reasons:

  1. Everyone loves bloodpoints. Any chance to boost bloodpoint gains is nice.
  2. This will encourage perk variety. I'm sure everyone's sick of seeing Iron Will, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, and Circle of Healing on survivors. Same with Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer, Pop, and Corrupt on killers. This lets people play around with perks they usually wouldn't and could see fun counterplay in the other side's perks for the week. For example, with Ace in the Hole and Streetwise in the Shrine, maybe killers will be more inclined to run perks like Franklin's or Hoarder to deal with the items. On the flipside, with Bloodwarden and Territorial Imperative in the Shrine, maybe Survivors will be more likely to run Distortion to prevent their aura from being read by either perk.
  3. For veteran players who have all perks unlocked (or all of the perks they want), the Shrine of Secrets doesn't do much. It's usually never worth it to spend 2000 Shards, a much more scarce resource, for bloodpoints. However, this lets vets interact with the Shrine in a different, fun way.
  4. For newer players who are still gathering perks, this is an incentive to save up shards for the Shrine for both perks and bloodpoints. It's kind of a two-for-one special if you don't have the perk already.
  5. The best part is if this was rolled out, this is completely optional. Obviously, if this were to be rolled out you'd see an influx of the shrine perks getting used a lot on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it still wouldn't drastically affect gameplay. There may be the odd shrine here and there with a perk that doesn't really synergize well if everyone's running it (ex. Left Behind, Deliverance, No Mither) but those will be few and far between, and people can just ignore the Shrine that week.

Below is a mockup of how the UI could look for this.
