Lore:
Cameron Feeley was an Entomologist and worked with insects every day. He had many insects that he studied. One day, whilst on his walk through the forest he noticed some rustling in the leaves. He took out his lunchbox from his bag, opened the lid and crept up to the leaves. An insect he had never seen before rushed out towards him and latched onto his leg. He managed to grab it and capture it in his lunchbox. He headed home with his leg pouring with blood so he could examine it more. When he walked through the door, he placed the box onto the table and proceeded to sit down; got his magnifying glass and inspected it. It was some kind of spider and it looked like it had thousands of little eggs on its body, but before he could examine it anymore, he began to feel dizzy. His body collapsed over the table, knocking the box to the ground in the process and releasing the spider. The eggs broke and out came a flurry of little spiders infesting the room. Before Cameron could get any worse, the entity grabbed him along with the spider; giving the spider some extra abilities to prepare it for the trials ahead.

Power: Web
Hold L2 for 2 seconds to aim the fangs to shoot a web. The web has a maximum distance of 32 metres.
If the web hits an object, it will stick and the Tarantula will reel itself towards it at a speed of 150%.
Survivors who run into the web whilst the Tarantula is being reeled in will get stuck and will have to wriggle out for 5 seconds. Survivors cannot go through the web. Shooting a web over a pallet or vault will cause the Tarantula to crawl over it at the same speed as vaulting.
Hitting a survivor with the web, will cause the survivor to get stuck and stand still whilst they wriggle themselves out for 2 seconds.
The Tarantula can shoot a web every 5 seconds.

Perks: Hex: Formicophilia, Scourge Hook: Webbed, Toxic Attack
Hex: Formicophilia
A random dull totem will turn to a Hex at the beginning of the trial.
When a generator is complete, survivors working on the generator will be inflicted with the ‘Petrified’ status effect where they imagine spiders crawling all over them for 40/50/60 seconds or until the hex is destroyed. Whilst inflicted with the Petrified status effect, they cannot complete generators or heal each other.
Scourge Hook: Webbed
4 hooks in the trial turn into Scourge Hooks. When placing a survivor on a scourge hook, the entity blocks them from being saved for a duration of 10/20/30 seconds. During this time, the survivor cannot attempt to escape.
Toxic Attack
Start the trial with 6/7/8 tokens. When hitting a survivor with a basic attack, you lose one token and the survivor will be inflicted with the ‘Unbalanced’ status effect (similar to Boil Over when killer is carrying a survivor) and over a period of 60 seconds it will get worse. After 60 seconds, the Unbalanced status effect will wear down over a period of 30 seconds before the survivor returning back to normal.

Survivor: Cameron Feeley
Perks: Entomology, Extra Luggage and Boon: Friendly Distraction
Entomology
Entomology reduces the time of the ‘Petrified’ stratus effect by 10/20/30 seconds.
Insects will also spawn behind survivors when they walk or run, leaving a track for you to follow.
Extra Luggage
Start the trial with a backpack on.
Hold ‘x’ for 3 seconds to interact with the backpack and take out the items you need. The backpack holds up to 3 items depending on which tier ‘Extra Luggage’ is. Tier 1 = a Rainbow Map. Tier 2 = a Techanics Toolbox and a Rainbow Map. Tier 3 = a Ranger Med-kit, a Mechanics Toolbox and a Rainbow Map. Selecting an item will replace any item within hand, into the backpack. All items in the backpack cannot be taken out of the trial.
Boon: Friendly Distraction
When blessing a dull totem into a Boon Totem, the killer will hear loud, fake footsteps within the boon totem range of 24 metres and for an extra 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the boon totem.

Can he grapple up walls?

No he can’t 😂. I tried avoiding that idea tbh. Seems too complicated. But he can grapple downwards from a height.

So the new killer is Batman?
Seriously though, it's not a viable way to really injure survivors. However, (hear me out) what if this was implemented as a web power that they give the giant bipedal Spider Monsters they seem to have hinted at in the Archives? 😲😲😲

I’ve never watched Batman 😅.
and yeah actually it could work as the spider they were hinting at! I never thought of that. This power isn’t made to injure survivors. It mainly works as a way to block survivor pathways and travelling to a survivor at a quick speed. Them running into the wire and losing a health state is just a bonus. Or maybe, if it’s the spider the survivors could get stuck in the web. The spider could also have other powers like setting up webs in certain areas that survivors have to destroy if they want to get passed.

That could work 😂

Would the grapple damp down or would it be like the deathslingers chain where it just goes forward with no curve in the chain?
0 -
Straight forward. What do u mean by damp down? The further it travels the lower it goes?
0 -
Yeah, like a grapple hook would do in real life. So it makes it so the killer has to be more skilled.
