that would be abusable by SWFs to prevent randoms from unhooking them instead of their friends…
so this needs some more suggestions/ideas on how to implement it in a fair way..

It's just that sometimes you don't wanna play a certain game, and teammates keep unhooking you and it is frustrating since you can't DC !

You can DC, you'll just get a 5 minute penalty.
Unless it's just you don't play against certain Killers and want to screw over your team by leaving early.

I had a feeling this post had a darker reason than simply not letting randoms farm you or something.

Yeah sorry but if you are not ready to play a match then you simply shouldn’t have readied up to find a lobby. And there is the option to dc. It comes with a penalty because it got abused too.

An unwilling participant is precisely that. The outcome doesn't change; rescuing them delays the inevitable. I agree it does screw over the team, but delaying their exit doesn't achieve much. There is no difference between someone insta-suiciding versus someone that wants to exit but is held hostage in the Trial (for one reason or another) and does nothing. Some cause trouble by making noise near other players or wasting pallets.

Not good from a gameplay perspective - and also not very good from an immersion setting.
You're hanging from a meat hook - you don't really get the luxury of turning people away who want to help you.
Besides, you'd constantly have trolls who will simply refuse to be rescued to annoy their team and place them in peril - it's just better as is.
