I can't pip at all while playing killer, what's wrong with the pip system?

Literally played tons of games where I'd pressure gens ,chase and hook survivors , but nothing It's always 0 pip even with high kill counts..
I'd be running around the map like a maniac I don't know what I'm I doing wrong ? and please no go for 12 hooks games don't last that long with the current meta but while playing survivor it's super easy 2 gens 2 unhooks and you guaranteed a pip and ofc get chased a bit nothing stressful but as a killer even sweaty games don't guarantee it.
It's just depressing that game after game I end up with 0 pip even when I pull great plays and chases.

I don't camp hooks it's not beneficial for pip

This is why people run Corrupt/Ruin/x Gen defense perk. Unless they changed it you get points for how many generators stay up for x amount of time which means if you had a rough early game the generator emblem is always going to be low even if you shred the survivors.

Are you playing Nemesis by any chance? Because I have a suspicion his chaser emblem is bugged right now, but I haven't come around to test it yet.

They changed this with the Ruin-Rework. You will not lose many points anymore when Gens get done early, but you will lose a big chunk if the Gates are open.
But the early game is not as important anymore for the Emblem System.

Looking at how low the Survivors scored, my guess is that you did not let them play enough to be able to crush your emblems.
That, or your chases were so long and/or they healed so many times it killed it.

Played Plague they didn't heal too much so not the case

Plague has always had issues pipping IMO, she doesn't get nearly as many points for doing stuff as other killers.

Well, based on the Bronze chaser emblem, it looks like the main issue was the chases took so long the points eroded. A reminder of the points for that emblem:
- 0-15 seconds: 90 points
- 15-30 seconds: 60 points
- 30-45 seconds: 50 points
- 45-60 seconds: 40 points
- 60+ seconds: 30 points

This has been historically true, but since she was tweaked a bit a while back, it's been a lot easier to pip with her. Specifically, her Deviousness. At least in my experience.

MMR actively works against the emblem system, survivors try to end games as fast as possible while the emblems tell the killer to hold back and farm, can't really do much about it. It's a frustrating juggling act.
TragicSolitude explained it best in your other thread. I came to the same conclusion Tragic did, 1mill BP ain't worth the effort anymore.
Also don't use Plague, you get screwed by your power and 1 hit downs.

What are you talking about?
We heard countless times that the grades only measure time played as they are not used for MM.
So if you play much you "easy" get to Iri 1 you read here all the time.
But wait... maybe you still have to play pretty well to rank up your grades?

Deviousness is a Bloodpoint category and doesn't translate to emblems.
Looking at your emblems, Chaser is what dragged you down. If you use Plague's sickness to get survivors sick and broken before hitting them, you're hurting your Chaser emblem. It's the same as using an insta-down, it costs you points. Puking on a survivor to get them sick/broken doesn't count as getting a hit during a chase.
Your Devout emblem is silver. I'm going to guess that the survivor who escaped never got hooked once? If that's the case, that's what cost you the gold.

Take a good look at Chaser. It requires a lot, and hitting a survivor during a chase nets 55 points. Shorter chases also reward more points, but the time you spend puking on a survivor to get them broken probably takes a bit of time. A chase that ends in 0-15 seconds nets 90 points. 15-30 seconds only nets 60 points.
What's wrong with the pip system? The pip system sucks. It does not take each killer's unique powers into consideration and grades everyone on the same scale, which does not work in this game. Years ago it sounded like the devs were going to work on that, but no, this is still an issue.

The funny part is that if you keep your MMR low it is easy. You get punished for getting kills, which increases MMR and gives you harder games which means it's harder to pip.

I have the same issue with different killers like huntress , slinger , wraith depends sometimes And nurse not only plague.

Yes. That is the reason i don´t get their MMR. Sadly i think they just don´t want to admit it.
The emblems measure your skill in different areas and that is good.
This should be the MM basis. They need to tweak it but it still works that way. Scrap this MMR.

Correct as you said killers with m2 abilities don't count that much not as effective especially ranged killers and nurse, I pip up more using m1 killers like Ghost face and wraith if I play him correctly and maybe hag she's boring but guarantees pip all the time.
Plague only pips if you 4k but since you need to puke too much on survivors to break them that hurts the chase right and as well as her blood puke insta down so either way you're screwed, I really wish the system was more grounded and less fragile when you play different killers.
