Ban Question
Yeah, a few months ago I was banned from Dead by Daylight, I bought the game on Steam, and I wanted to know, in case I wanted to return to the game, this time buying it from the Epic Store (I refuse to create another Steam account) would there be a conflict that my Steam account and Epic account are linked? Will my Dead by Daylight Epic account be automatically banned as well or are they independent?
I would be grateful if someone directly from Behavior could answer this, I need a completely safe answer, and not just assumptions. Thanks!

You can find your official answer on the official BHVR account website in the FAQ section:
What happens to the Behaviour Account of cheaters when they are banned from the game?
- If the ban occurs when one of their accounts is linked to their Behaviour Account, all the accounts linked to that Behaviour Account will also get banned. If a user tries to link a banned account to another account via the Behaviour Account, both accounts will also get banned.

Does this apply to bad behavior too? I'll check later when I get home. Thanks

What do you mean by bad behavior? If you mean the reason for the ban then yeah, I guess this applies to any ban

yes, I was going through a bad time and my temper was #########, but thanks to therapy I am already overcoming that facet of me, and since I enjoyed the game a lot (despite some bad times) that's why I want to come back, thanks again for your help, I will review that section.

You can always try to talk to support about your ban i suppose. Maybe it can be lifted? Worth a shot I think :) also they might give you more concrete answers for your specific situation as they can see into your account and can discuss your ban directly (in the forums discussing concrete bans is against the rules)
i second this 👍
