He kind of looks cartoony compared to reworked Laurie and reworked Haddonfield. Hopefully he receives some sort of graphical change.

I personally think he will get a graphical rework at some point but if I had to guess it will be when the new movie comes out as well as his buff.

They have no excuse not to give him one. They are clearly getting free reign with the Halloween movie people to visually update their license.

He looks fine. Any excuse they have to use the nasty new version is one I would like to avoid. If ANYONE needs a visual rework, we need my homie Ghostface to drop the Assassin's Creed cosplay and refund our auric cells we needed for the OG cloak.

As much as I want to see it happen, it probably never will. Michael Myers is the only killer on the roster that has seen two recent back-to-back movies, which has managed to drum up a lot of excitement for the character. Despite this, not only has he not received a graphical rework, they haven't even implemented a new skin. A lot of people wanted a new Halloween Kills skin, and if we can't even get that, then don't expect a graphical rework.

The Halloween Kills skin is owned by a different license holder. Dbd holds license to the original Halloween movie. Not any of the sequels. Several of the sequels were handled by different movie companies.
Its why the cosmetics that Michael and Laurie have are all from the original. The only other cosmetic they could give Michael from the original is the ghost sheet he wore in the scene where he was toying with Lynda pretending to be her boyfriend.

If that's the case then you definitely won't see a rework, because no doubt a different license holder will complain that he looks too much like "their" character. The only way to circumvent this is to go for skins and a look that is held by a different license.

None of the license holders could claim that. All the sequels masks look distinctly different to the original. Even the 2018 movie one which is by far the best looking one since the original has the aged, dirty, gritty look to it.

You mean the Halloween Kills mask? Yeah it looks fantastic doesn't it. One of my favorites.

He could use the Clown treatment (aka enhancing his textures). I think his model is fine as it is, though.

They not only need a rework, they need new skins and new music choices that can be swapped out with the other skins.

Michael really needs it. He looks terribly outdated compared to a lot of the new chapters.
Also hoping they change his stun sound because it’s really unfitting for his character.
