Pallets should regenerate like hooks

@Entità I agree with you about the moral stoning which takes place in the DBD community. That said, respawning pallets would break the game completely.

so many questions on why you thought this was a good idea

Here, I personally believe that the challenge must remain exciting from the first to the last moment, that a player must lose because his opponent proves more skilled or clever, not because the tactical resources offered by the map are now exhausted: I do not like the idea of this going to die of the trial, I do not know if I can explain myself. For example, I would agree to allow the killers to reactivate a curse by lighting a dull totem or repairing a shattered curse totem: if the killer is willing to spend valuable time on a secondary target, it's OK to return him Ruin or Devour Hope or NOED. Of course, all this would require delicate balancing, but I understand the frustration of a killer who feels he has spent a slot perk unnecessarily: the Devs could, to say, impose a repair time directly proportional to the duration of the curse, so the killer re-activates easily if he lost it at the beginning of the game, but had to work hard to get it back if he already enjoyed it for a few minutes. I recognize the guilt of having treated the pallet theme separately from the others, I apologize, and I suggest you to read and comment on the complete, full, organic proposal (possibly in a civilized manner, but now I do not hope so much), that you can find here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/31911/map-resources-regeneration
Incidentally, it is very interesting the moral stoning put in place against the promoter of a "heretical" idea, there would be material to revolutionize sociology studies about the fact that the Middle Ages is not set at all, that the burning of witches is still in vogue, and no, I have no prejudices against the Hag...
I simply stated in a sarcastic yet understandable way why your idea of "respawning pallets" (and only that) would remove a very important part of the game - the only thing that forces survivors to have some sort of time-management.
The current meta is all about how much time you can win per pallet in combination with the time it takes to repair the gens.
The only thing it would do is make Survivors games (especially SWFs) even easier. I'm saying that as a Survivor main.

Would not work besides killers don't have the TIME to waste saboing 20 pallets in the end it will just help survivors by giving them more time to work on gens.0

New survivor perk idea: Carpenter
You know how to handle your wood. Collect the remnants of 5/4/3 broken pallets to build a new one and place it where another pallet once stood. You may only use the same broken pallet once. Building takes 25/20/15 uninterrupted seconds and can be heard within a 20m range.
(You cannot place a new pallet in the killer shack)2 -
the fact that this would even be considered by some people is absurd

This awards wasteful uses of pallets, and just loop the killer. I hate myself for saying that, but it’s what ALOT of survivors like myself do. The fact this was even considered is beyond me.2

Firstly, can you stop making more than one forum post on this topic, it's spam.
I would've just let this post die but you went and tagged us all in it again.
Your idea is just as bad as the first time I read it. You are getting so many posts that don't take you seriously because your idea is so, so, so out of touch with reality in how an actual match in this game goes. I cannot imagine how you could see this as a good idea unless you're playing at rank 20 or something and you just started playing the game a week ago.
The game is already heavily enough in favor of survivors and that pallet repairing feature would completely break the game. You would have infinite loops everywhere. Even with the current pallets we have NOT regenerating, you can loop a killer for 5 gens and STILL have pallets left and you are wanting to even make those regenerate?!
That is why people aren't taking you seriously, because it's just THAT bad of an idea and would be terrible for the game for the reason I provided.
Btw hooks regenerating for killers how you want is basically meaningless and irrelevant in most cases. Almost never has a hook being already used up or sabo'd in this current build caused killers an issue which is also the reason no one runs Hangmans Trick. The chest change isn't needed, survivors already collect way more items and addons than killers do, which is a lot. Totem change would just waste way too much of the killers time in a game where the killer ALREADY doesn't have even near enough time to begin with and is one of the games core issues.
Also can you stop with the trying to sound sophisticated with word dribble and big word usage to make yourself look like the victim in this and that people are attacking you without listening to your idea. People are listening, it's just a bad idea. Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean they don't understand it or are simply wanting to attack you. This type of wording just makes it come across as pompous and doesn't make the idea any more intelligent no matter how fancy you try and make it look.

@Peanits Could you please close this thread? I made the mistake of treating the proposal of pallet regeneration separately from the others, I sincerely regret it, but I remedied with a thread containing the organic, integral, complete proposal, that is here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/31911/map-resources-regeneration This thread has exhausted its function. Thank you in advance.
