Killer isn't allowed to have fun?

Options

So last night. I went up against an interesting team. I was playing Nurse trying to get better at her. Found a comp ready team who thought they were hot #########. I hooked one of their teammates and they decided to shark the h ook and spam Unhook right in front of me. I had managed to get my stuff together and 4ked all of them because of their greed. Then they pipped off yelling at me about camping and how unfun I was. They even said "we are supposed to have fun not killers" and I am just shaking my head. They called me a terrible nurse, and I'm just saying 'But you died though, and you can call me a camper but you were also camping the hook right in front of me. So that just negates what you just called me." This community can be so toxic sometimes. I don't know where all those kind gentle players are but please I need them too keep going on this game. I want to enjoy killer. But Boon totems and survivor toxicity makes it down right impossible to have fun as killer anymore.

Some survivors be so salty that you gotta hit up your doctor after a match to make sure you didn't get heart damage

Just ignore them (and try not to eat too much of the salt, that's bad for your heart and I want you to be healthy!)

The best thing to do is ignore these idiots. They don’t give a s*** about anybody but themselves. Life is much more enjoyable when you stop caring about what other people think, especially people like this who are incapable of thinking beyond themselves.

Seldom is postgame ever worth reading. I only turn it on when I want to say something specific.

But yes - a lot of survivors view the killer as an object there for their entertainment, and if they end up dying it's going to be wall to wall salt.

    Also - shark the hook?

I played a game of nurse (I'm on ps4, against a 4 man PC squad. Judging by their behavior, that is. After 5 years, you can kind of tell. There are some on PC, for whatever reason, that cannot be hit by the killer in such a scenario. They were already attuned to this information and were "trolling" right from the start. I managed one hook by hitting someone who was healing (standing still).

So, I got bored. I basically tried boosting with them and it looked like a scene from "the office". They all four stood there and stared at me. (I was under a pallet hitting it, I had someone on my shoulder. Hooks were dropping the whole game, so that part was over). Essentially, the message was "get mad or no deal".

Agreed. The DbD community is the only one I've seen that complains about efficiency. Granted, I haven't been a part of many multi-player communities, but still

spoiler alert: the only ones nearly as bad as this community are the fortnite community and the pubg community. Even then, people still dont take it as seriously as the DBD community takes this game

This game’s toxicity drives away kind gentle players sadly. Ironically survivors complains about everything the killer does drives away nice killers and all that stay are the salt mining killers and the killers that could care less for survivors.

Fortnite isn't terrible, aside from the cavalcade of 11 year olds who think that n-bombs are the height of comedy.

    Pubg...yeah.

However, none of these are even close to the CS:GO or EVE Online communities, or, if you want to go further back, the original DoTA or Halo communities.

Reading survivor chat is like opening a box labeled dog ######### and being surprised at the contents.

    1. It's not camping if they immediately go for a save without giving you 10 seconds to leave
    2. Survivors fun is not your responsibility
    3. Nothing in this game is inherently toxic, but going out of your way to personally insult somone or go to someones twitch stream/steam profile to comment is.

Fam, it is really important for you to disassociate. Look, how about this, I accidentally stayed up all night watching Karen videos, I suggest you search a quick Karen meltdown. Literally any of them will do. You will surely come to the same conclusion as any reasonable person would, "what is wrong with people, how is such entitlement even possible?" Now apply that to DBD survivors who type incomprehensible nonsense. What is the inherent difference? There is none. You would never take a Karen seriously. Don't take this walking circus seriously either.

You dealt with the mongrels by camping them, great. They got mad because you didn't let them walk all over you... Take pride in that. Do not let them ruin the game for you. That is what those animals want.

A "comp ready team" probably isnt gonna get beaten by a Nurse in training, and if they do its because theyre ######### around

This was just a normal SWF

Also dont worry about what people say in endgame chat or in chat of literally any game out there, its just classic gaming banter at the end of the day
