6th Year Anniversary Discussions
Okay, there's a lot of people out there who are going bonkers over figuring out what chapter we'll be getting this year to celebrate Dead By Daylight. I have a few things to point out and maybe we can all piece something together.
So for those of us that play on PC if you played anything at all on the PTB you'll have noticed by now that the Observer's safe haven has been trashed and abandoned. The fire is out and everything. It looks like it's been abandoned a while and it looks very cold... and filled with a chilling fog.
Something I noticed is that there is only one set of footprints present with everyone's theoretical scuffle that everyone believes the Observer had before he disappeared. And the footprints are all identical to one another. I believe these are the Observer's carbon footprint.
What if he wasn't attacked at all? What if he abandoned his safe haven - perhaps he discovered his safe haven has been discovered and fled with all his necessities and research relating to the Entity? Maybe he gathered what all he could in a panic - destroying the place in the process and ran?... This is just a far fetched theory of mine that I created while I was looking at these images. But if he was attacked by some odd chance - why didn't his assailant leave behind footprints as he had? Could they have been climbing around the environment? Or perhaps they didn't have feet at all?
As I said that whole thing is just my thoughts, but there is one more thing to think about with this... The 6th year banner. As I mentioned earlier with the Observer's safe haven it looks cold and abandoned, and I noticed something a bit similar with this year's banner as well. On the far right we can see what I believe is a bit of white frost creeping onto the banner.
There's still a lot I don't know relating to what all they've teased thus far, and as I said these are all just my thoughts and could be 100% wrong. But it's all enough to think about. I'm still unsure of what to make of the actual design of the 6 in the banner, I'm still trying to figure out the pattern in it for our looks familiar in a way, I just don't know where I've seen it. If anyone has any idea what thes pattern in the number could mean, please let me know. Let me know your thoughts and what you think this could all mean!

I think the anniversary chapter is gonna be lore heavy which I think is great. I love the lore. I think the observer is gonna become a survivor and his killer something directly tied to the entity and Haddie is gonna be the new observer.
There are speculations that the observer is gonna be a new killer but... I still think he'll be a survivor. Regardless I'm intrigued.
As for the pattern idk. Haha

I think The Entity finally 'got' the Observer and tricked him into losing touch with the auris some-how and swiftly abducted him while it had the chance. I don't think The Entity would let the survivor side have The Observer due to the knowledge it has on how to defeat and weaken The Entity, and due to his knowledge he has on all of the killers like what their past was like. I think The Entity would see more value in twisting The Observer over to the killer side and having the Observer work for it and utilize all of The Observers knowledge he collected to strengthen it's grip on the realm and reduce it's chance of ever being 'beaten' by the survivors or killers. So as of now, I think the Anniversary chapter is The Observer as the killer and Haddie Kaur as the survivor. (Even if the Observer isn't the killer for this chapter, he likely will be coming soon regardless)

Huh I didn't even think of it like that! Damnit lol ... now I kinda like the observer killer idea hahahah! But then the question of who would replace the Observer ... is it June yet 😂

I guess it’s really gonna be an original chapter with characters we already read about in the lore like Blight.
for killers, either Observer, Spider or the Vampire? (Sad that the pig lady from first tome will probably never make it..)
for survivors, Haddie Kaur is the most likely candidate, she might even be one of the Pariahs(?), other than her there weren’t really other candidates mentioned, were there? Observer could be a survivor I guess and maybe that friend of Mikaela that vanished shortly before she was taken.

This may seem far fetched but see the blue on the skull in the 6th year anniversary?
It looks almost identical to the blue going through ghostface in his icebound phantom skin. I wonder if the 6th year anniversary will be focused on the supposed frost that swept over the entities realm during the winter event. The mentioning of frost on the banner and the fire being put out could hint towards this too.

I too love the lore aspect of the game but I have a terrible feeling the 6th anniversary is going to be more login rewards -.-
