Boons&New players

Hi all, so I just played against a very new and a very confused Nemesis. He didn't manage to get any kills, mostly because of the epic matchmaking we have right now but lets put that aside.

We had a boon (CoH), in a very obvious place and we all kept running to it. The killer clearly didn't know whats going on and wasn't even looking for it.

So, shouldn't there be some tutorial or information regarding boons for new players? Because unless they happen to read Mikaela's perks then they have no idea something like this is even in the game. And that means a giant advantage for survivors. And yes you could make this argument for other perks but none of them affect the game as drastically as CoH.

The game as a whole needs a better tutorial. They somehow managed to rework the tutorials entirely for both killer and survivor without actually making either of them any better than the old ones, with the exception of adding the bot matches. It doesn't teach you anything more than the absolute bare minimum, and parts of the in-game manual are also outdated and feature incorrect information.

I saw this happen to a legion yesterday. It was dead dawg and a duo abusing Exponential at the main building. The legion obviously didn't know what it was even when he ran past it. Felt bad for him. 2k, but a very miserable game.

Yea its just makes you feel bad for the new players. Honestly there doesn't even need to be a tutorial gamemode for it. Just an article of text that jumps on your screen would be enough.

This would apply to new survivors not understanding Hexes as well. From my memory, there's nothing about Hex totems or their effects in the tutorial

The tutorial for DBD is extremely poor and teaches players very little. Behaviour should get some youtubers to send them videos on how to play DBD for them to upload onto their YouTube channel.
