Game Hacks
It feel like I'm experiencing more & more subtle game hacks in this game on a daily basis. The two main hacks I'm constantly experiencing are subtle movement speed & teleport/vanish/invisibility after M1, particularly when they line of sight at a corner or rock etc.
I'm no pro at survivor, but have played it enough to know it's limitations with regards to how fast a killer can catch you. I sometimes don't break chase on purpose just to see how long it takes to catch someone that's not even good at looping and you can literally chase them around the whole map & gain little to no ground on them even in t3 bloodlust.
I've looked at multiple videos and there's so many different hacks for this game it's unbelievable. The worst thing is that there's also so many hacks that you can't see and would never notice as a killer. Extra passive perks, wall hacks, no skill check hacks, increased gen/cleansing speed.
I feel at this stage the game is so compromised that you really don't know if you're facing at least 1 hacker every other game. When you combine this with all the other problems this game has at the moment it really puts a downer on playing killer.
I guess I'm ready for an extended break from DBD & will maybe check it out in a few months again & see if there's any positive changes in the gameplay.

I've experienced a GIANT surge in hackers. Now I am experiencing less blatant ones, but people with 10 perks are on the rise.

Watching some of the Pro COD guys play Warzone was the big thing that made me realize that there are some pretty common, well-known cheats. Those guys live, breathe, and spit Call of Duty. I don't believe anyone can deny that if anyone can control recoil, it's them.
I don't watch many streamers, but I did catch Dashy, a pro COD player, playing Warzone. Of course, he was destroying everyone, but he was occasionally missing shots and the gun was bouncing a little here and there. He was occasionally shooting arms and legs. It appeared natural.

I'm seeing mostly wall hacks. They think they can just pass it off as BBQ and Chilli but it's obvious if you run a perk like Distortion.

Well you just need to enter "hacker" and "dbd" in youtube, filter "within last month" and you will get about 100 results of hacking proof.
Honestly, I'm a bit impressed that this topic post is still active (2 weeks already) and still hasn't been deleted. Normally BHVR site always tries to avoid/censor the topic of hacking as much as possible.
In any case, there are now even many live streams on Twitch that stream the hacking.
It's a bit of a shame because Dead by Daylight is a really good game and it could have so much more potential with a detailed ranking system, tournament mode, etc.
In this case, however, something would have to be actively done against all the hackers and since they probably contribute positively to the sale of the product (through constant new sales of games and skins), the priority of this task is very low.
Also, bugs that are game-changing in PvP need to be addressed more timely (indestructible totems or killer bug addons like Nurse atm) and that's more of a wet dream.

I'm running into a lot of killers with wall hacks. They're taking predictive pathing that makes zero sense without wall hacks or insane 500 iq game sense. Then you check their hours and they somehow have 200 hrs and really good mechanics. Like they had a previous account and lost it for some reason.

Yes, some reason 😉
