Boon: Circle of Healing, Iron Will, Dead Hard and Boon: Shadow Step should not be a thing
if you got a swf with these perks ggs.
no scratch marks, self healing at a fast rate, iron will so you will never hear them and dead hard to just flat out ignore your attack.
legit if all survs runs this you can't do anything.
i just wish they would nerf all the meta perks so others can shine, the mmr is fine since you get bloodpoints for climbing up but mmr is kind of not balanced right ether.
sigh.
so much cover for survs so its so easy for them to just dip cause of these perks since you legit can't see or hear or do anything to counter the healing since you waste so much time breaking the boon so many times.

I sorta disagree. Dead hard only needs a rework, Iron will is fine atm. The boons, well, My only problem with them is that you can use them multiple times & you can choose which totem you bless. It needs a cooldown and/or Have it randomly on a totem.

nice to see other people recognize this builds potential. shadowstep and iron will can be evil. Making good use of the Linger effect can make for really strong plays.

Killers are very much ostracized for expecting that they should be able to rely on sight and sound to track survivors.

They should give movement speed 120 % for killer to counter survivor perks.

i don't get why this is not a thing tbh, i know how killers perks have a give and a take.
bloons should give killer something in return giving survs buffs,
marks should give killer no terror radios and the healing should yes give movement speed buff for killer like clowns yellow gas.
survs just have a massive advantage with no downsides.

If during the first chase the survivor uses DH and i see some kind of coordination with other survivors (BB or teamplay) = i tunnel and camp and i do everything to ruin their trial as they obviously wanted to ruin mine.
Those survivors do not want a fair game then they do not have it.

The day I did that post about despising the boons, I went against teams using this. It was ridiculous.
Find them? Almost impossible, and they have a better vision field so they can move to stay hidden.
Snuff the boon? By the time the boon is snuffed, the survivors are in another section of the map, setting up again.
That's why I'd like to be able to break the boon once an for all. At least you only go through that once a match.

In my opinion only Dead Hard and Iron Will need some changes

As far as Dead Hard goes, the stronger use of it is for distance, “baiting it out” only helps against a survivor trying to use it to dodge a swing but does nothing against survivors using it to gain distance to reach a vault or pallet.
Also yeah, you can see survivors no duh, but sound is just as important in this game as sight so not being able to hear survivors is a strong effect. I’m not saying Iron Will is overpowered but it is definitely one of the best survivor perks in my opinion.
Shadowstep is ok, not great but as a killer I do occasionally lose track of or miss spotting a survivor because of it. Perfectly find as a perk.
CoH I think at this point is a solid perk, it might still be overpowered or might not I’m not sure? Self healing for the whole group is powerful no doubt but it does take over 20 seconds per self heal on top of the time it takes to place or replace the Boon which is quite a long time not being on a gen if it happens frequently. I have definitely seen games where survivors were so focussed on self healing and replacing this totem that they lost because they instead should have just stuck on gens.

This. There have definitely been perks on both sides that have needed tweaks over the years, but I've always thought it would be a slippery slope to start nerfing stronger perks, and now here we are.

I'm not arguing the strength of any perks but to say the perks are an advantage with no downside is just false. there is an investment required to set them up (time booning+time finding). This can be immediately wasted if interrupted and can be cancelled by snuffing.
Again, I'm not arguing strength here but let's not spout "alternative facts"

Complain about ANYTHING that annoys you because you lost a match.
What's never complained about?
- The amount of RNG that weighs heavily on EITHER side during a match and it's understanding of it. (Map rotations/set ups, Perks load outs not falling into place to counter certain strengths from the opposing side, etc)
- The experience and skill that took place during the match. (Many players do not want to admit they are also just bad at the game)
You will never hear about those. It's always the other side's problem or "balance" in their perks. Pay attention and you always see it in posts with very little detail followed by a rant to remove x/y/z.

Iron Will was always a problem and people have been complaining since ever about it. I don't get some people saying the perk is fine.
It's always the same annoying combo: Iron Will and Dead Hard
and a flashlight as a bonus. The killer dosn't stand a chance, there's no counterplay, only relying on luck.2 -
Dbd resumed in a single video. Everything that has been added and was a terrible idea. All these (DH, DS, BT) are band aids just for bad map design + bad loop design + bad hook design.
And this video just shows the experience you get when you try to secure kills.
And if you do not use proxy camp + soft tunneling to secure kills, i.e you are looking for a new chase all the time, you end up with 0 kill most of the games.

And yes, seeing how fast the killer population is decreasing and the 7:2500 ratio in queues, be sure that the questions asked about killer bot in the last survey are not "innocent". BHVR will have to add killer bots as there aren't many killers left. Once most killers you will face will be bot, you will all leave DbD for good, what is the point to play against a bot ? None.

There really is no counterplay, they make zero noise and now they have no aura or scratch marks, I guess I just smell them through the barely visible corn fields
meanwhile spinechill exist, good luck trying to even see a survivor if they haven’t already broken los because they get a free 10 second head start

So that means you also want rid of any Perks/Add-Ons that give you undetectable, because survivors can’t hear or see you that well unless they look? Can’t have Nurse’s Calling either since you’ll be able to see me Self-Caring/Circle of Healing!
There’s ways to counter everything, on both sides of the game. Never had an issue with the meta perks, without having to camp or tunnel.

It's gimmicky and fun but not the best just follow the blood and commit to downs when CoH is in play, or run sloppy and make them all spend 30s healing after every hit. It's very beatable
Now 4 survivors with Ds bt dead hard and unbreakable prove thyself sprinkled in that's a stressful match

I've mentioned a well-known exploit that I've run into a dozen times in the past two weeks. This hasn't been addressed AT ALL by the devs despite it being common knowledge. They don't give a ######### about killers. Pay attention to their actions, not their words.

I honestly mainly play Ace when I play survivor just because his moaning isn't completely unbearable to me.

I disagree in regards to Iron Will. Almost no other perk *completely 100% blocks* something, in this case sounds. Greatly reducing it is fine but in an asymmetrical game absolutes are not a good idea.

Slowdown or exposed perks shouldn't be a thing. Especially on the extremely versatile Blight. Can get to the other side of the map at the tap of the hat.
At this point, nothing on survivor side is strong at all.
Circle of Healing shouldn't have been nerfed at all. It needed to be better than self-care for all the time invested on a secondary objective.
Shadow Step is really only good for hiding BBQ auras and they are too easy for killers to snuff.

Yes, the killer loses a perk slot for the rest of the game whenever the survivors decide to remove it.

Unlike boons, hexes can be guarded. And Undying gives an instant second life to it. Plus they have no set up time.
Not saying boons are fine as is but let's not ignore basic facts.
