Any counter play for bad luck?
Now I'm not saying Im a god at the game, but I'm not awful either.
But some games its just like... DAMN. That is was just straight up UNLUCKY.
Had a game just now on Coldwind. I spawn in and 2 of my other teammates are with me. They are just standing there, unmoving. I start to work on a gen near us, and after about maybe 10s, I decided to go over and check on em--they still haven't budged. Welp. So, I move on. I'm creeping, staying behind cover, turn a corner--face first into Ghostface.
So OF COURSE I get put into chase, even though there's 2 literal AFK players 15m away. I manage to last maybe 25s or so, its a bad area and I'm running Lithe, and there are ZERO windows around, just pallets(WoO), until finally I get to the tractor and manage to run all the way up it, perform a FAST VAULT through it, my feet literally land on the hay and I start decending TO THE GROUND... and then SOMEHOW the killer's M1 hits me--despite me being 100% vaulted and well on my way from going down off the tractor.
So I get hooked, but at least we got a gen off it.
So I get saved, heal up, do another gen, I hear gens exploding in the distance as for some reason no one can hit a skill check anymore. As I'm creeping through the edge of the map to unhook one of our other survivors--face first into Ghostface again as I'm rounding a corner.
Instead of running towards the 2 explosions done by our Meg, he's instead roaming bum frick nowhere and runs into me. So, again, in another bad area and 0 windows nearby so Lithe doesn't help, no pallats, its all corner walls, like.... the RNG was not on my side. So I get hooked--and this lovely GF decides to "face" camp by hiding just behind a corner wall so I cant reveal him, and my poor unwitting teammate comes to save me--BUT LUCKILY, she's coming from behind him and SEES him first. So they very wisely.... unhook me right in front of him. With out borrowed time. And farms me. So then I get mori'd and of course... just spectate the rest of the game only to see that the teammate who blew 2 gens, and farmed me, suddenly turn into a looping GOD and loop GF for 3 gens.
And this isn't an isolated case, this is just whats fresh in my mind.
I know there's definitely stuff I can improve on, but sometimes its just like... DAYUM that is some BAD luck. Like I feel at least 1/3 games I start within 35m of the killer, because literally within 5-10s I hear their terror radius and they're ON me. Or I'll be doing a gen with 2 other survivors, the killer shows up, we all go in different directions and guess who is the one that gets chased--me. I know thats just how the chips fall sometimes but man it really is a gut punch when its just like, yeah you died just because you spawned in the WRONG spot buddy.

Just be lucky bro.
I can relate to the derp teammate that suddenly starts looping like a madman, but if you're really not feeling being the first person chased just chill in a locker until you see someone get injured. Lethal Pursuer exists now though so if you do that run Head On just in case he sees you get in a locker. Start the match with a stun. The killer will appreciate it.
