Lets Talk About That "Bloodpoint Change"
Its been a HOT minute since BHVR said they were going to change the bloodpoint grind in the game yet literally nothing has changed and the grind only continues to get worse with every new chapter release. The current math is it takes somewhere around 6million bloodpoints to P3 all perks a single character. This means if you get ALL FOUR STACKS OF BARBECUE AND CHILI AND MAX YOUR BP EVERY SINGLE GAME it will take 188 games to max out a character.... there are dozens upon dozens of characters. It probably takes 15 minutes a game (including time spent waiting in the lobby) which means it takes 47 hours of leveling *nothing but one killer* to get them to p3 with all perks. This doesn't even take into account how long it actually takes to spend all the bloodpoints for some reason. Or the fact that getting 64k BP a game is incredibly unrealistic, especially for survivors.
My question is whether BHVR actually has to interface with this grind at all, because I refuse to believe a change hasn't come out yet if BHVR staff themselves actually have to deal with this BS. Either that or they don't play their own video game, which I guess wouldn't be too wild.

Weighing time concerns off of Prestige resets seems like a disingenuous complaint. Most players don't care about Prestige ranks and those who do, don't care about grind time.
A legitimate complaints is "time to get all perks on a given character."
Do you have the estimated time to do that?

They’re definitely not in any hurry to improve the grind. Many players are frustrated with it, but it apparently hasn’t led to enough people quitting the game or turned off enough potential new players to be a problem yet. I wouldn’t hold your breath for any changes anytime soon.

Sure it takes about 3million to get all perks on one killer so 12 hours minimum if you hit 64k every single game so realistically probably 20 or so hours since hitting 64k every game does not happen. Times that by the number of killers in the game and :(

actually hold on that math is genuinely terrible its more like 8 million for all perks on a character lol

Okay better math time
At level 50 it costs about 70000 to get two perks and close the bloodweb if you are trying to minimize bloodpoints (just leveled up blight myself and calculated the avg). Assuming you have about 200 perks left after going from 1-50 (because there are 3 perk tiers) that means it will take 70000 bloodpoints x 100 bloodwebs which equals = 7mil bloodpoints.
It will take 110 games to get 7mil bloodpoints at 64k a game, at 15 minutes a game that means 27.5 hours or so to get all perks on a single killer (not including how long it takes to go from 1-50 which is about 1mil so really a bit longer)

They announced they were in the early parts of revamping the bloodweb grind in January. It's only April and major revamps usually take around six months so we're probably going to hear more about it this summary, maybe around the anniversary.

I don't care about prestige and I still definitely have a hard time. I don't get hours a day to play though, so I guess just not having enough time is really my primary issue. But we do get a new killer and survivor/s every few months, so for those who started playing years ago they might be able to keep up but for newer players it's a struggle for sure. I'd like to play more killer but since I'm still grinding away on survivor perks i don't have the extra to put into unlocking my preferred killer perks.

The good thing is that they're aware of the problem and also that they know the grind gets exponentially worse with each DLC release. Peanits specifically mentioned that when a question came up about removing perk tiers, so I'm hoping that whatever system they come up with, it will take care of those issues.

Their solution is you can pay them real money to unlock all perks.
That's it.

I'm honestly not sure about this math.
I can usually get 500k BP over the course of half a dozen games or so with BP offerings.
Attaining 6,000,000 BP sounds like it could reasonably be done with 90 games or so.
That's 12 hours of gameplay.
IDK. Not saying you're wrong, just that it doesn't quite feel right according to my experiences.
