Dear Survivors, please.. why..?

(Attention: long stuff ahead which probably no one cares about but I had to get this off my system now..)

So.. Actually my first post here and I don't wanna brag, cause there is nothing to be proud of, but I want an answer..

Dear Survivors.. How can a match like that be fun?! ..

When I saw the Lobby I actually wanted to dodge immediately.. Then again, I just wanted to find a red glyph for my tome mission, so I didn't even bring competitive add-ons or an offering, neither Lightborn, thinking I wouldn't commit to a real match with'em, cause usually the glyph spawns somewhere near Valhalla and it takes me 5 Gens long to find it.. Ya..

Spawning in Mother's Dwelling, moving my feathery butt a few meters and my glyph smiles at me, awesome, and now?

Since one brought the BPS I thought I could at least give it a try.. Maybe they're just doing a mission as well - one might hope.

Of course traveling as a pack I found them quickly, downed a Mag (there were two Megs, one Nea and a Jill), ate my first radiography, raced a little through the main building, downed the Jill and since she luckily fell into a wall in a dead-end I was able to pick her up and get her on a hook right next to the building while the other three were healing on the upper outdoor section of the building.. You know.. were the gen is..

So we have Jill on the hook, the other girls up there and me right in the middle..

What would my fellow killer mains have done now I'd like to ask?

To get up there I'd have to walk around the building.. So I stayed.. What else to do, they will get her anyway off the hook I thought so I can wait to get another free hit on someone - I didn't calculate that they had more fun making their clicky-clicky towards me and she got into 2nc phase - they jumped down and saved her, I got a hit on a Meg, chased her, downed her, heard the others around the bushes, a hit here, a hit there and all 4 were on the floor..

First I wanted to let them bleed out, even though I was sure that an unbreakable has to be in game..

After one minute of waiting I started to really hate myself for doing that (actually I already hated myself that I camped the Jill, but once again, where should I have gone..), decided to pick up the Nea and wanted her to wiggle free to get the others up and just go afk..

As soon as I picked her up one Meg raised from the dead and then I got mad as hell and thought, ok, I was right.. You want it, you get it..

Hooked Nea, downed one of the Megs, got her to hook as well, since my birds drove the others away - btw.. Artist against a Flashy-Squad.. well.. you know..

The Meg that survived in the end - will get to that point soon - gave me the chase of a lifetime.. Must've been somewhere to 5 minutes.. We had a glorious rng setting of two Jungle-Gyms and the KillerShack + two pallet-gyms in one place..

I was so pissed and desperate, mostly about myself that I lost temper and actually committed to this bullshit, that I missed almost all my shots - and she was an amazing looper, gotta give her the recognition for that..

Got her.. Hooked her.. Got unhooked..

Noise-notification from the main building.. Ok, can't get worse, lets have a look.. Jill jumping out of the window, stays in front of the hook she was on before pointing at it.. The killer-instinct from my bird shot already told me there are two others right behind her in the building.. Don't ask me why or how, but they managed to miss me with their flashlight - even though I must admit that I turned my mouse so hard that I kicked my ashtray from the table,,

Anyway, Jill dead and here comes to sequel to the chase with that looping goddess Meg - once again committed so hard to that that the other two finished the gens but I still got'em killed before the gates were touched cause, of course, they cared more about the flashlight saves..

Found the Meg than at the Exit Gates with my birds, small little chase, downed her, wanted to kill her but she didn't wiggle, and because of that amazing looping I carried her to the gate, hit the switch, let her wiggle free..

She opened it, dropped her flashlight in front of me and went out - WITHOUT teabagging - which I highly appreciate..

I have no Idea how long that match went but it must've been somewhere close to 30 minutes..

I'd really want to know.. What would you have done in my position?

Would you too have committed to that? - even though I still consider myself as an bloody idiot for doing so.. It was no fun (for me), I'm most certainly not proud of that since this is not my interpretation of how a match should go (again, MY interpretation) - everyone is free to play how she/he wants - but I'd still like to know, or at least try to understand, what's the ambition behind this?

I have 440 hours in this game and I'm far from top tier player or something like that and I really appreciate hard matches to learn something.. The only thing I learned here is that I should get better control over myself and just let them do their thing and watch a YouTube video until they finally do their gens and leave..

If I get some honest answers regarding this I'd be happy.. They don't have to agree with my opinion, that's fine, I'd just really like to hear some point of views.. But please.. Calm and relaxed.. I just spent more nerves on this match that I was ever willing to spent on a game - which is no ones fault but mine, I know :)
