Public MMR?
I stopped playing the game about half year ago when they introduced hidden MMR matchmaking because I didn't feel like playing competitive matches but without the competitive rewards (having a badge that shows your MMR like every other competitive game). So I wonder if this has been discussed during these months or what changes have been done since then.

No, still the same.
Grades are also hidden now. They are trying some tweaking atm - we will see how this works.

I guess they do not want people grinding for rank. I would love to flex my Bubba on all of these people who play him at low mmr and pretend he is the easiest killer in the game.

Yes, I want to see who is the best at every killer and how good I am relatively to everyone else. And also see if some people that claim to be at the top are really as good as they claim. I'll come check back in a few months hopefully they come to reason.

I think it was Patrick that mentioned how they're aware people like seeing a displayed rank level (badge) and that they're looking into putting something in, but he gave no ETA.

They have their reasons for not showing it, but that just incentivizes a 3rd party to build an MMR checker which would compromise account security. Again, I get why they don't want to show it, but it's naive IMO. People are going to figure it out if they want to know badly enough.
