Back when it was an instant health state, it was even more busted than that cheap Ford Focus your friend always insisted was going to last forever.

It's so much better now - far more balanced. A health state automatically in 16 seconds if undamaged.


It's pretty good as is, but after spending a massive amount of time in the game, I really haven't seen it much in the game.

I've seen full BNP Toolbox builds, Keys, loaded Maps, entire SWF squads with Odd Bulb Flashies.

It looks like the lowly Styptic steals the show and gets all the screen time, even if it is relatively easy to wait it out.


Let's do a little thought experiment, nothing too serious.

You won the Behavior lottery and they put a paper in front of you asking for your opinion on some AHS changes they were lightly pondering.

Should there be one of the following changes?

Anti Hemorrhagic Syringe Change ? 6 votes

No longer an active item. 8 less charges. Completing a healing item on a survivor gives them this buff. The next time they are damaged they recover a health state if they are undamaged for 32 seconds - and the buff is lost. (Medkit is destroyed at 0 charges)

No longer an active item. If a healing action is interrupted, the target of this medkit's healing is affected by the buff until damaged or healed. Immune to Hemorrhage and leave no blood pools.

Using allows 30 seconds with no breathing or grunts of pain, leaving no blood trails. Slowly heals over this duration.

It doesn't need a big change. Just let people use it while they're dying.
