It's an incredibly close adaptations, with the things that were changed being done so to add to the story and not take away from it (and had Alice on working incredibly closely with the production). Also, it's very LGBTQ+ friendly (hence why it's my new go to form of representation) - the main 2 characters are gay, 2 of their friend group are lesbians, another is trans (and the casting reflects this; a trans woman plays Elle, the trans girl, for example).
It's just beautiful. Glorious. A literal 4 hour serotonin farm.

Loved it. Just wanted to start with the first episode today and well. Got to the end.
though admittedly I needed to get used to the characters and setting in the first episode and was almost turning it off half way through, glad I didn’t!!

nah I think it was more about those doodles that seemed pretty random and annoying in the beginning. Later on I found their implementation more punctual and appropriate.

I think the doodles are there because it's based on a graphic novel and they're pretty iconic in it. I loved them personally
