Are we ever going to know what the requirements for the wrathful well charm were?

After everybody gets the sadako wrathful well charm will we be told how we got it or will it forever remain a mystery?

It wasn't the 7 days thing. It took me less than that and some people got it without owning the DLC or 1 day after buying it.
