Did BHVR make the cheater situation worse for mid mmr player with the last changes?
After the last positive thread I have to say something negative now and I would like to know your experience.
I switched to killer after my survivor session, as I often do. I just noticed something in the last few days since the MMR changes.
The number of cheaters seems to have increased in mid mmr.
I'm not a high mmr killer, I know that a cheater problem has existed for a long time, but when I read complaints about it, it was high mmr players who said that cheaters are mainly found in high mmr.
That matched my experience, because I can hardly remember seeing a cheater in low/mid mmr in the past in my killer games.
But since the mmr changes I have several cheaters in every session.
Most use insta-gen cheats. I'm good at patrolling and keep a close eye on my gens, so I often end up with a 3gen situation that's good to monitor.
Lately I've had it several times that one of the last 3 gens on the map, which were previously all regressed to zero, suddenly popped within 10 seconds. And none of the survivor had good toolboxes, or brand new parts.
So, BHVR said they lowered the cap to give high mmr players more variety. Could it be that we mid mmr players are now getting all the high mmr cheaters because of this?
Playing killer is frustrating enough, with the bullshit I don't want to play killer at all anymore. If BHVR doesn't finally do something to end cheaters once and for all, then the players who want to play normally will all eventually leave the game, and the killers who are left will also start cheating, and then it'll just be cheater against cheater.
I don't know if any of you know the game "Resident Evil Resistance".
It didn't have this playerbase like DBD because resident evil fans tend to be singleplayer fans, but it had several thousand players daily in its prime. Then the company ######### it up, more and more cheaters came, and other players who hadn't cheated before also started to cheat to stand a chance ---- and now only 20-30 players worldwide play the game and nearly all are cheaters.
This is like an epidemic and it pisses me off that people are like this. Cheating in single player games is one thing, it only affects you but in multiplyer games it ruins other people's experience.
sorry for the rant, but now after i had 3 matches with insta-gen cheaters today i just had to let that out.
I am annoyed.
