New Survivor Perk Idea: Divine Intervention

This is an idea for an anti-camping and (somewhat) anti-tunnelling Perk I've been thinking about based the premise of Pyramid Head's cage traps.

Perk: Divine Intervention

"Your resistance to pain and and will to survive has provoked an uncanny interest of The Entity who wants to see what you're capable of"

When you have been hooked for 30/20/10 (commulative for time on the hook) seconds within the Killers terror radius, press the Active Ability button to call to call on the entity for help. Succeed a skill check to have the entity move your hook to the furtherst point from your current location.

The new location is revealed to all survivors and the killer.

  • The perk deactivates once used.
  • Survivors unhooked from a divine hook suffer from the broken status effect for 60 seconds.

What are your thoughts?

    Very overpowered.

Imagine losing the game thanks to a 3-Gen then this activates and the Killer loses all the pressure they had

Fair point. Maybe it could be tweaked then to only be usable early in the match - so up until 3 gens have been done or something. Or increase the amount of time spent on the hook in the terror radius etc.

I don't blame killers for camping late on in the match. I think that's fair, but i think we need an early match counter.

    1. This would be a bandaid fix which isn't good
    2. I personally don't think there needs to be any Perks that counter camping, as there is a base-kit counter, known as doing Generators
    3. Camping and tunneling early game is the smartest move a Killer can do, and honestly the only good move

Would easily be the strongest survivor perk in the game. Using strategic hooks to force survivors into certain areas is the key skill to playing killer. This perk completely deletes that.
